This image received a Gold ADDY Award last week! Maybe you saw me post a bit about this on my stories but I’m honored and excited to share that my image Strike of the Sacred has received a Gold ADDY Award through the American Advertising Awards! 🥳 The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry’s largest competition, receiving more than 25,000 entries each year, and a Gold ADDY represents the highest level of creative excellence within its category. This piece has become one of the most sought-after works in my collection, and I’m deeply grateful for the recognition it continues to receive. As a limited edition, many of the prints have already found homes with collectors, and with each milestone the opportunity to acquire one becomes increasingly rare. I’m also honored that Ellen’s Collection received Silver ADDY Awards for photography created in collaboration with Jackalope Media Agency for Monument Health’s Love Where You Live, Love Where You Work campaign. It meant so much to have my husband and some of my closest friends there celebrating alongside me. Moments like this remind me how much the support of the people around us matters. 🫶 Above all, all glory to God. None of this would be possible without His guidance and timing in my life. For those of you that don’t know, @madebyversa recently went under a rebrand and is continuing to push boundaries in the world of brand strategy. Mike asked me to work with him to help tell his story and I am thrilled because I get to work with such a unique brand. As part of that video, I wanted to create an animation that is subtle enough to keep the honest intentions of the brand, yet good enough to grab attention. 🕰️ One of the longest stages of the process… The Setup. Setting up for interviews can be intense and tedious work. Depending on the location, project, desired outcome, this process can be as little as 30 minutes or as long as a few hours. But in all honesty. It is worth it. Playing with light has always been one of my favorite things about studio photo and video. Getting to mold and create a scene from scratch feels so artistic and fun!
