Yesterday - 9/25, aka Dolly day - I worked day 2,190 employed at @chachas_salon.
Six years feels pretty big, probably because how much my life has changed since I talked to @jasontherooster on the phone during lock down and walked through the doors to begin my second apprenticeship during a pandemic in my already 4 1/2 year career.
I built an incredible clientele who grew with me, hit insane benchmarks, put my head down and worked my ass off, suffered loss, gained some of the best friends I’ve ever had, traveled to places I never thought I’d go, moved three times, married my best friend, hit more benchmarks, kept on going.
I always get a little emo making these anniversary posts but it’s truly because this little beauty shop in central Kentucky changed my life.
Forever grateful and forever growing.
