This year felt like being awake during surgery..🫠✌🏼

No, but for real.. I’ve had to endure the worst physical pain I’ve ever dealt with for this whole freakin’ year. But, despite this I’ve also gathered some good memories to look back on when I get old and crippled (I guess even more crippled than I have felt this year👵🏻😂).

2024 started with a great experience teaching a handstand workshop in Denmark. Something I thought would just be the start of what I was gonna do in terms of work this year. This sadly ended up being the first and last one I did in 2024 due to my back injury. Fortunately I have been able to show up to my other jobs this year (although a bit reduced)✨

I’ve done 2 trips to Spain (Tenerife and Alicante) and spent some valuable time with friends and family💛 I have been lucky enough to visit my family a bit more as well compared to previous years.

Due to being forced to take time off from training, this year has been the year I’ve been the least active since before I started doing gymnastics at the age of 10. It’s been focused around A LOT of rest, recovery and rehab with only a few handstand holds here and there.

Mentally I feel like I’ve changed a lot, especially when it comes to my relationship with my own body. I feel like this injury was a huge wake up call for me and once I recover fully, I’m definitely approaching things very differently than I have in the past. A blessing in disguise maybe?🤔

In the midst of enduring intolerable pain, I’ve been lucky enough to receive love and support from friends, family and clients💕 That has made this year easier to get through and I’m forever grateful for that✨

I don’t have any huge expectations for 2025, but I am hopeful that it will be a year with less physical pain and hopefully more training again!

As of life outside of my own training, I want to keep spending time with and create memories with my beloved ones💕 I also want to keep expanding my work and help even more people in their handstand journey🤩 I’m excited to connect with more people from all over the world and spread my knowledge and support✨
