Black Swan opening night was…… perfect.

“Black Swan,” the Darren Aronofsky movie thriller that catapulted ballet into pop culture (while ruffling many dancers’ feathers), just made its stage premiere, 16 years after hitting the silver screen. “Black Swan”—the musical by Jen Silverman, with lyrics and score by Dave Malloy—officially opened on June 3 at Harvard University’s Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Presented by @americanrep, the production plays through July 12. With @sonyatayeh at the helm as director and choreographer, many in the dance industry have high hopes for the show.

@pointemagazineofficial recently spoke with “Black Swan” ensemble dancer @avanoble, a Broadway alum and graduate of @usckaufman. Noble is also understudying the musical’s lead role of Nina Sayers (played by Melanie Moore), and she shares what it’s like to bring the movie’s story to the stage at the link in our bio. 🦢

New haircut calls for new headshots! I’m so glad I stumbled across @nilescottstudios work on Instagram (thanks to @hlaserwolf) and immediately knew I wanted to do my next round of photos with him! I am soooo excited for y’all to see the final images. So many good ones to choose from, it was a tough decision!

Thank you @maggie_ftw for helping me feel confident with a very minimal and natural make-up look!

Big special thanks to @alexoffenkrantz for helping me get ready for this round of headshots, coming to the session to support me, and shooting all this b-roll footage! I’m so grateful to have you in my life.

Stay tuned for the final images!!! If you’re in NYC and will need new headshots be sure to follow and hit up @nilescottstudios!
