Got my hair done today and let me tell you why I’m LOVING these!

✨ The installation time! SO much faster than a traditional sewn weft.

✨ They’re incredibly discreet! Seriously, you can barely tell they’re there.

✨ They lay SO flat! No bulk, no bumps, just a super seamless finish against my head.

As someone who has worn wefts for years, I never thought I’d love another method this much, but here we are! 😂

Unironically, some of the best creative advice I’ve ever followed. 😂

You can’t be WILDLY imaginative while simultaneously questioning whether every idea is going to work. At some point, you have to stop asking “but what if it looks like shit?” and give yourself permission to PLAY.

Try the weird thing. Add more. Take it off. Start over. Make the mistake. Learn WHY it didn’t work. 🤔Accidentally discover something even fucking cooler along the way!

Because NOT allowing yourself to fail doesn’t protect your creativity… it kills it before it ever gets the chance to become something.

And almost every time I’ve looked at an idea and thought “I have absolutely no idea if I can pull this off…”
Nine times outta ten, it becomes some of my favorite shit I’ve ever created. 😏🫰🏼✨

So here’s your spooky little reminder:

STOP waiting until you KNOW you can do it. Fuck around. FIND out. You might surprise yourself. 🕸️✨

Flex Weft 2.0 anchor stitch, up close 👀

Sometimes you just need to SEE it from this angle for it to finally click.

The biggest things I focus on are piercing the back of the spine, staying clear of those loops, and pulling my thread horizontally along the weft before moving into my closed blanket stitch.

Save this one for the next time you’re behind the chair working with Flex Weft 2.0. 🤍

It’s not always about what you install, it’s about how you install it.

For this bottom row, I customized my bead placement so the Flex Weft 2.0 could sit underneath the beads. That means when she throws her hair into a high pony, the row can flip up naturally without exposing her beads.

Same Flex/Volume Weft stitching technique we know and love, just a little placement adjustment based on how my client actually wears her hair.

Want balayage without actually getting balayage? 👀🤎

That was the goal with this transformation. She wanted longer, fuller hair with lots of dimension, but we didn’t want to chemically alter her natural brunette AT ALL.

Enter Mocha Cookie by @realericvaughn 🤤

We used Flex Weft 2.0 to create the length, fullness and all those gorgeous ribbons of color, then gave her a heavier face frame to really bring that dimension forward.

This is why I love extensions so much. They aren’t always about adding a ton of length. We can use them to completely change the color, fullness and overall look of your hair without bleach or the commitment of permanent color.

If you’ve been wanting a change but your hair is telling you “please don’t bleach me” 😂 come sit in my chair. There might be another way. 🤎
