Dear Pop, 3 years… somedays it feels like yesterday, others it feels like forever. So much has changed since you left. I wish I knew then what I know now. We could have made life so much better. When I sailed by the Lighthouse, or sat at the top of Sam’s point , all I could think was “my Dad should be here”.. THAT is why I do what I do!! It’s not for “views” or “followers”.
2 years ago I started this crazy journey. I set some goals and It’s because I know there are many more like you and like I was .. afraid. Afraid to see the world from a chair. A world that seemingly doesn’t care..
I’m going to change that. I will be the leader you raised me to be. I will make this world better. I will let people know they don’t have to be stuck home and afraid. That there are people who care like @the_impossibledream , @soar__experiences @rcalkingston @magicmobility @sunrisemedical @mdaorg and those that ThinkDIFFERENTLY. I will make them listen. I will make them change. I will make the world better. That’s my job now. Kiss Mom and give her some love for me. See ya soon. 🙏🏼💔💚

My third time in my @magicmobility @allterrainwheelchairs Magic 360 powered wheelchair.

I decided to go on a day out to Bourton-on-the-Water for a real test.

The chair has four easy points to clip vehicle clamps too, being narrower it also made driving into my van much easier.

I reduced the pressure two main drive wheels before going out, as they are fitted with puncture proof tyre liners I felt safe doing this. With slightly lower pressures than the stock delivery values, the ride becomes smoother and reduces bumps further.

I kept the seat raised for almost my entire visit, giving me a much better view. There were no wobbles or tips, everything remained perfectly stable. I haven’t put the chair at full speed while raised yet, 4 was perfectly adequate for a walking pace.

P.S. - Always be careful when driving with the seat elevated. I weigh less than 8 stone so most of the center of gravity remains low to the ground due to the wheelchair batteries and motors still being close to the ground.
