Just back from my 11th year at @levitatemusicfestival and I am so proud and honored and grateful to be surrounded by the Dream Team.

My dear friend Carolyn from @magictreehenna is my right hand woman and always delivers beautiful and thoughtful designs, adding in an element of devoted presence and authenticity to people.

Gabby, who offers hair tinsel and jumps in for all things glitter, is the daughter of one of my oldest and dearest friends. It’s a full circle moment to work with this capable and joyful young woman, whose mama was one of my roommates at college and who wasn’t even a twinkle in her mother’s eye when we were going to parties and chasing two boys who were also best friends, and who we later married.

And my daughters. Oh, my daughters. Who have grown up in the booth and learned the ropes as each festival passed, now displaying a dazzling wit and maturity and a way of handling shit. Guys: they HANDLE the things. And they do it so I can make my art.

How lucky I am that they are mine.

I have much more to say about @levitatemusicfestival — but for right now I am bathed in joy for the people who make Wicked Good Henna what it is at a bustling and magical music fest. Cheers to the Dream Team for a job well done 🌈

✨Highlights from @berkshireyogafestival 2026 ✨

It all started at check-in where I received the most awesome studio partner goodie bag, filled with loads of treasures from festival sponsors. Then came the engaging workshops with fantastic presenters, Saturday night dance party, musical performances, beautiful henna body art by @magictreehenna and an all-around gorgeous weekend in the Berkshire mountains!

I didn’t take nearly as many photos and videos as I wanted to, but this reel sums up some of the highlights. It was just wonderful to be in the moment and to share the experience with my fellow yogis. Yoga bliss in the Berkshires! ☺️

As a studio partner, we had access to discounted tickets so a group of us got to enjoy the festival at a big savings off even the presale tickets. Consider joining us next year and stay tuned for info on 2027 studio partner tickets!

I love this festival fam, and am so thankful that this is what and who I get to do this life & work with, and for the opportunity to do it.

“The light of Noya Rao serves as a guiding force.” - Carlos Tanner

The light of Noya Rao is both symbolic and mystical.

In Shipibo cosmology, its glow represents truth, purity, wisdom, and spiritual illumination.

Participants in ceremonies often describe visions of glowing trees, beings, or landscapes associated with clarity and awakening.

The teachings surrounding Noya Rao emphasize compassion, inner peace, emotional healing, and reconnecting with nature and oneself.

Carlos Tanner describes the tradition as rooted in a relationship with enlightened plant consciousness that inspires transformation not only for the individual, but also in how they relate to others and the world around them.
