My hero @lisatulamaia 🤍 one of the many people in the world whose life has been torn apart by war.

I know her first as a friend and soul buddy and secondly as a hero for peace 🦋 I wish I could combine the two but I don’t have the same courage yet that she does. When I see her putting her life on the line for peace before I feel gratitude I feel anger and fear and guilt because I love her as an individual when she is standing up and showing herself as so much more than that.

If you have any love left to send please send some to Lisa to stay courageous, lionhearted, and safe.

If only the whole world was as brave as Lisa to sacrifice everything for peace. Her actions from the other side of the world are rippling into my life and I’m sure the lives of many others.

See you soon Lisi 🤍 be safe.

The story of two fae-like women,
whom met for "travels" in bonnie Scotland.

They came from the far-flung places.
Etched into them,
a desire to discover their ancestral lands.

The discovery was that
they can find a home anywhere.
As long as there are edibles that grow in the wild,
and trees that encourage them to rest.
The landscape must evoke poetry,
melodies on the wind.

These fae creature might make you laugh, or cry.
They will certainly feed you delightful food.
Or sleep on your porch, borrow some tap water, rave your garden, or ask for your whiskey.
They rely on the good graces of the human race, to show them a home - unconditional and unattached.

What these faeries didn't realise
that in the rambling, the roaming, the foraging and the rediscovering of home upon the rhythm of traveling feet... was that they were marching forward on an odyssey. One of deep healing, humility and awakening.

A story not quite written, yet is immensely relatable.

They asked the land O' Scotland to take them. The land gave herself to them.

Now they move forward on their individual wanderings, a voyage onto new lands, with a heart full of heather, peat and bog.

So they became, with a heart full of place and their traveling feet carrying them home.

I love you @lisatulamaia. Thank you for the most magical adventure in the sweet land of Scotland!!!

Lisa and I wanted to take a cute video of us practicing for our show next week. And well… this is what we managed!

We are excited to happen upon an opportunity to perform as part of a Valentine’s Day show in Mitspe Ramon this coming week, which came up after spontaneously performing together recently.

As the lyrics of the song go, all the beautiful things unfold in their own time.

We met by the river under the mountains.

Nadav gravitated towards Lisa’s dance, the way she moved in a space. Lisa gravitated towards Nadav’s music, laughter, and freedom of expression.

We remember the magnetic dance as our admirations placed us again and again in each other’s path. Until eventually our hearts shared the same rhythm, and we decided to be together.

It was clear to us from early on that our shared gifts would lead to us co-creating music and dance, however the year following finding another was filled with many tasks, changes, the closing pages of long chapters, and such other priorities on the physical plane.

It feels like it has been a long time coming, but now we have now arrived at a point where the space for collaboration is open before us.

We don’t know exactly what Rustic Movement looks like, and what is at the very heart of it beyond an inspiration to create and share.

To be inspired by potent places in nature. To listen to the breath, the sigh, the heart beat of the earth - to see how it moves us.

Our bags are almost fully packed and soon we go to visit friends around Aotearoa before a bigger journey across the seas.

Thank you to the small few of you that have chosen to join us on that journey of curiosity and exploration so far.

We are excited to be here with you.
