kisses for you if you vote for ‘does it make me naive if i’ve never been part of something where i’ve meant more to them than they did to me?’ in the New Voices program of Amsterdam’s @liftoffglobalnetwork !! voting open till Oct 15 :* this film was made with 13 directors over the course of 10 months. it was completed in July 2024, and only premiered in November 2025, which was a test to the heart and mind and wallet and ego!! i’m very grateful for the places this film has landed, and I hope you can watch it and vote for it through this online festival.

🏮KIACのお盆の記憶―― ――The memory of Obon in KIAC🏮 8/30 リサ・マリコ・ゲリー『Oceans(仮) - 海』オープンスタジオ Lisa Mariko Gelley “Oceans(working title)” Open Studio 当日の様子を写真でご紹介します。 ・・・・・・・・・・・・・ Credit Creator/ Director/Community Facilitation｜Lisa Mariko Gelley Collaborator/Mentor/Dramaturg｜Cindy Mochizuki Dancer/Research Translation｜Amaru Seki Dancer/Videographer/Documentation｜Sophia Mai Wolfe Production Manager｜Josh Martin Sound Design｜Matthew Tomkinson Translation at Open Studio｜Tomoko Mamiyama Research Documentation｜Shuhei Hatano Supported by｜Canada Council for the Arts, the Agency for Cultural Affairs Government of Japan, Fiscal Year 2026 Reserch Events 須谷の盆踊り（竹野町）　Sudani Bon Dance(Takeno town) 蓮華寺古代太鼓踊り（竹野町）Ancient Drum Dance of Rengeji Temple(Takeno town) 竹野浜の盆踊り大会　Takeno Beach Bon Dance (Takeno town) 気比の祭文踊り　Kei Bon Dance (Toyooka Minato area) 気比の精霊送り　Kei Sending off Sprits (Toyooka Minato area) 城崎湯島の盆踊り　Kinosaki Yushima Bon Dance（Kinosaki town） 城崎飯谷の盆踊り　Kinosaki Handani Bon Dance（Kinosaki town） 林の盆踊り（竹野町）　Hayashi Bon Dance (Takeno town) 城崎温泉の灯篭流し　Kinosaki Onsen Lantern Festival （Kinosaki town） インタビュー協力： 西村 総一郎さん　Soichiro Nishimura （北但大震災復興100年記念プロジェクト実行委員長） 久保田 一三さん　Ichizo Kubota（北但大震災復興100年記念プロジェクト副実行委員長） 片岡 大介さん　Daisuke Kataoka（北但大震災復興100年記念プロジェクト教育部会長） 今井 奈津子さん　Natsuko Imai（城崎湯島の盆踊り音頭取り見習い） 青山 佳代子さんとなごみてぇのみなさん　Kayoko Aoyama and NAGOMITEE staff members（竹野浜の盆踊りの踊りを教えていただきました） Special Thanks： 一般社団法人城崎温泉観光協会、NPO法人たけのかぞく、気比地区のみなさん、豊岡市文化スポーツ振興課文化財室、中竹野コミュニティ、竹野浜自治会、そのほかリサーチで出会ったみなさん 記録写真　bozzo

This Saturday Night at ODD: Green 8PM and 10PM OSMOSi:422 Unprocessable Entity 7PM and 9PM Green is a fast-creation experiment mixing movement improvisation, music and physical environment that questions the practice of Visual Resource Analysis - one method used in determining how to make invisible the extraction of resources or logging of forests in order to maintain a smooth and pleasing visual landscape for onlookers. OSMOSi: 422 Unprocessable Entity is an interdisciplinary work that weaves together movement, projection, spatial sound composition and interactive costuming to build an immersive world where the ground is constantly shifting beneath your feet. Reflecting on the religion of workism and precarity of gig economy labour, we are confronted by the everyday within the unexpected. Hope to see you there! Photo 3 is by Vanessa Tam
