On September 29, join our community for The Big Table – an annual community-wide day of conversation presented by @colsfoundation designed to inspire civic engagement and connection. At a time when many people feel lonely or disconnected, creating space for genuine human connection matters more than ever.

Our nonprofit community is hosting several conversations across central Ohio. Click the link in our bio to learn more about each one!

In early August, the Columbus REALTORS® Foundation visited local nonprofits around central Ohio to present them with checks through its Community Grants program. From projects that support individuals experiencing housing insecurity to initiatives that fund home repairs for low-income families, this program helps local organizations continue to make a difference in their communities.

The Columbus REALTORS® Foundation is proud to recognize 13 local nonprofit organizations as the recipients of its 2026 Community Grants.

August is Overdose Awareness Month.
It’s a time to remember those we’ve lost, support those impacted by overdose, and take action to save lives.

Columbus Public Health is proud to support two local community events this month focused on education, remembrance, and hope.

Whether you’re honoring a loved one, learning about overdose prevention, or connecting with local resources, you’re invited to join us. Together, we can reduce stigma, increase awareness, and help prevent overdose in our community.

@makeadayhq 🙌 What an incredible day serving our community! ❤️

In just 3 hours, we were able to make a real impact:

🍽️ 200+ guests served

💈 25 guests received a FREE haircut or shave
👏 Huge shoutout to our small but mighty team of barbers & stylists!

⚖️ 14 guests met with our expungement team
✅ 10 people had their records cleared!

🩺 10 guests received care from Mt. Carmel’s Street Medicine Team

👕 Guests received FREE clothing, shoes, hygiene supplies, and more from the Dignity Market

🥕🌱 Guests enjoyed freshly picked vegetables from Franklinton Farms’ U-Pick Garden, took home plants to grow, and learned about valuable resources available right here in our community.

📋 Franklin County Job & Family Services helped guests apply for benefits on-site.

💙 And that’s not all… countless conversations, connections, smiles, hope, and lives impacted.

This is what community looks like. Thank you to every volunteer, partner, donor, barber, stylist, and supporter who made this day possible. Together, we’re changing lives—one person at a time. 🙏✨

Members of the Junior League of Columbus had a great time volunteering at The Kickback last week in support of teens and young adults experiencing homelessness.

Make-A-Day brought together community partners to provide health screenings, hair cuts, education and workforce opportunities, and other resources to youth at Star House. Youth also had an opportunity to play games, listen to music and enjoy fresh burgers from the Make-A-Day food truck.

The Junior League of Columbus was grateful to sponsor the event! ☀️🫶

💈✂️ Blessed to be out at the @makeadayhq event at @starhousecolumbus showing love to the community one cut at a time ❤️🙏🏾

STAR House does a lot for youth and young adults in Columbus by helping provide support, resources, meals, education, and a safe place for those going through hard times. Real good people doing real work for the city 💯

Happy I could use my craft to give back and help people leave feeling fresh and confident 🔥
