Time to fix this! After chatting with a few amazing epoxy makers in our community (@vierradesigngroup @makeforlifeworkshop @thepaperclipfarm ), I decided to repair the top and cross my fingers the underside looks good when I de‑mold.

Step one: cleaning out the couple of air bubbles that popped up along the wood with my dremel. Even with sealing before the pour, I still ended up with four little pockets — honestly, I’m calling that a win lol.

Next up: scuffing the epoxy with Scotchbrite pads so the next pour has something to grab onto. Then cleaning it all up with mineral spirits (per SuperClears website you should use Isopropyl Alcohol 90%).

For @whengeekscraft, @makeforlifeworkshop and I, this was a marathon project for almost a year of planning and building and a sprint to the finish! Definitely my biggest project yet!

@tapplastics Offered to supply the amazing Black LED Acrylic and it was a game changer! Stay tuned for behind the scenes videos on how we pulled this off! Special Thanks to all the friends who came out to support us and even carry some of these heavy boys!

No better time to refinish my desk, like when its out of commission for a couple weeks. It drank probably half a tin of danish oil, and finished it off with a buffed coat of wood balm from my buddy @makeforlifeworkshop

I promise not to spill any more drinks on it 😅

"Parenting is a team sport."

At the Meta Business Leaders Network Advocacy Day, I had the honor of sharing why that message matters now more than ever.

Whether it’s flexible childcare at @thedropzonedropin , heartfelt support from @iamtheneighborhoodnana , or the digital tools that keep us connected — parents need a village.

Thank you, @Meta for giving us a platform to advocate for the digital access and visibility that help small businesses show up for families every single day.

We’re not just running businesses — we’re reinforcing the foundation of family support.
And that’s a team effort.

Another one for the books!
Grateful to have spent #AdvocacyDay in DC reconnecting and building new bonds with incredible small business leaders who are doing amazing things in their communities.

Honored to engage with Congressional champions who continue to support and uplift our nation’s small businesses. The energy, the passion, the purpose, it was all there.

Here’s to the power of small businesses and the voices that drive change. #SmallBizStrong #AdvocacyInAction #SupportSmallBusiness

Really getting some solid use from my cricut. Put together this as a secret Santa gift for @makeforlifeworkshop based on his current D&D character in our ongoing Strahd campaign.
