Summer!!! AKA camp, camp, company updates, and more camp. (With some side quests to a cabaret, a cousin’s wedding, and America 250 along the way.)

📷: Beautiful PTI photos by the wonderful @lenamucchetti

Perhaps one of the busiest and craziest summers of my life?? Probably not in actuality, but it certainly felt like it at times. However, I am SO grateful to have been surrounded by some truly magical humans these past few months! So many new and old friends that I had so much fun working alongside.

Feeling very proud of all I’ve accomplished this summer, ready to rest at home in MN for the week, and excited to Make some Good this fall. :) 💛

Maybe This Time- Cabaret
I did the first song I ever sang in Philly for @makegoodtheatreco 's first cabaret! I wouldn't be the artist I am today without the wonderful city of Philadelphia, or my dear dear friends @zoe_hollander and @gideon.mcd that founded this new theater company 🦅🔔

“I’m Still Here” from Follies

Performed at I Love My Country Philadelphia: A Musical Cabaret by @makegoodtheatreco

Accompaniment by the one and only Mark Yurkanin 💛

Two singing videos back to back on my Instagram? What is this, 2019? In all honesty, felt the need to celebrate the huge win that was Make Good Theatre Company’s very first cabaret this past Sunday! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us, including our fabulous cast of performers. We can’t wait to see you at the next one!

It was such a joy to watch friends new and old make such beautiful art, accompanied by someone who has been a part of most of our artistic journeys for quite a while now. I got to revisit a song I sang at the end of my freshman year at UArts (scroll back far enough and you’ll find it!) and while looking into the audience I was really struck by how far we’ve all come. We’re still here! ⭐️

So @makegoodtheatreco had our first cabaret last night, and I couldn’t be more proud of this group of people. Here’s me performing “Dust and Ashes” from Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. I felt it fitting, as I wake up to this beautiful creative life I’m getting to live.☄️
