POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Advocate, advocate, advocate.

Advice that feels simple but isn’t always that easy.

Whether you’re experiencing PMDD or navigating something else that doesn’t feel right, consider this your reminder to keep talking about what you’re experiencing - with your doctor, with your trusted loved ones and whoever else you feel safe opening up to.

Women’s health is still far behind where it needs to be. It wasn’t that long ago that women experiencing very real symptoms were dismissed as “hysterical”, and we’re still working to close the gaps that dismissal created.

The more openly we discuss about our symptoms and experiences, the more we can help other recognize what they may be going through, feel comfortable speaking up and know what questions to ask.

Share your story when you feel safe to, ask questions, advocate for yourself with your healthcare providers and never be embarrassed about talking about what you’re experiencing.

Because when more of us speak up, our individual stories become harder to overlook and we deserve to be heard 💛

Don’t worry Canada, we’ve got you 💛🩸

Periods aren’t inappropriate, embarrassing or something we need to whisper about. They’re a normal part of life and we’re here to keep talking about them.

No more shying away, whispering or lowering our voices. Catch us making conversation about something so many of us experience - openly, loudly and unapologetically. Because once we do, maybe you’ll remember you can too.

Period.

We’re incredibly honoured to be recognized with the CHFA Equity & Impact Award 🏆💛

From day one, joni has been about so much more than period care products. We’re here to help make period equity possible, working towards a future where access to period care is treated as a right, not a luxury. Because no one should be held back by their period.

That mission shows up in the products we create, the organizations and communities we partner with, the conversations we push forward and the way we continue to learn, listen and grow.

Thank you so much to @cahealthfood for recognizing this work and the impact we’re working to create. And thank you to every partner, organization, team member and member of this community who continues to move this mission forward with us.

There’s still so much work to do to for menstrual justice, and we’re proud to be continuing it together 🩸💛

This year, we’re running Women Doing Cool $h!t as two panels happening at the same time, because we wanted room for more stories. Pick your stage - we won’t make you choose favourites.

From fashion tech to period products to financial feminism, these women are building companies that challenge the status quo and solve problems that have been overlooked for far too long. Hear how they turned ideas into businesses, navigated industries not always designed with women in mind, and built what didn’t exist before. Expect big ideas, honest lessons, and a few reminders that some of the best innovations start with asking, “Why the hell is it still done this way?”

Culture eats strategy. Every time.

You can have the sharpest strategy in the world, but if your culture doesn't back it up, you'll be fighting it every single day.

In this clip, we get honest about building culture on a fully remote team that's growing fast.

The wins you forget to celebrate because you're already onto the next thing. Remembering to actually have fun. And staying open when your team calls you out and says, "hey, we're not having enough fun here."

The box-checking, "great, what's next" energy is real for most founders. But we're human. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is pause and celebrate how far you've come.

Tonight was wonderful.

The audience ranged from teens to 73yr olds, endo warriors, partners, and health care providers.

190 million people globally are impacted by endometriosis, with 2 million in Canada.

One person I spoke with tonight said “I’ve never felt so seen”.

This is why community and advocacy is so powerful.

Last month we brought together a talented team of artists to take the guesswork out of showing up 💫

Our first Styled Portrait Experience was a day of luxury, collaboration, and care, aimed at creating photos and content that work as hard as our clients do 💪🏼📸

We are so grateful to these women who chose to step into their power and be truly seen. It was our pleasure to curate this experience for you and witness you shine!
