Everyone deserves a place to call home.

We were honored to support Make It Home’s Salvage & Style, an evening that brought together an incredible community of designers, donors, and supporters around a mission that means so much…. helping create safe, comfortable homes for people starting over.

The talent and creativity behind each tablescape was extraordinary, but what made the evening truly special was the heart behind it. The time, thought, generosity, and work that went into every detail was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for others.

To every designer who shared their talent, every person and company who donated, and everyone who helped make this evening possible — thank you.

Our COO, Katharine Moodie, is proud to serve on the board of Make It Home.

“I believe everyone deserves a place that feels safe, comfortable, and truly their own. Home creates stability, dignity, and opportunity, and I’m honored to support an organization that helps make that possible.” - Katharine Moodie

At Cook, we understand how much home can mean. We’re incredibly proud to support an organization helping more people experience that feeling for themselves.

And finally, we’ve arrived at the Shop. 🏡

Our Shop is where you get to be part of the Make It Home Cares mission — and go home with something beautiful.

Inside our warehouse, you’ll find quality donated furniture and home goods at accessible prices, including a curated collection of antiques, collectibles, unique furnishings, and extraordinary pieces that deserve a second life.

But shopping with us is about more than finding something special for your home. Every purchase helps keep usable items out of the waste stream, gives beautiful pieces a new story, and generates revenue that directly supports the families we serve.

So when you find that perfect credenza, one-of-a-kind lamp, or dining table with a little history behind it, you can purpose your purchase toward something meaningful — helping us transform empty spaces into homes filled with comfort, dignity, and care.

This is the heart of Make It Home Cares: when you make it home, you help someone else make it home, too. 🤍

Good design changes how people feel in a space.

To every designer, stager, and creative who has shown up for Make It Home: thank you. Your generosity has done more than furnish rooms — it has created places of comfort, dignity, and belonging.

Because of you, someone walked into their new home and felt like they belonged there.

And that's the kind of impact that lasts. 🤍
