I might have to stop following @makeretemiringa cause she has way too many budget big back hacks that I actually like. 🤭

This one I ate hot and of course I added some cream and ice cream. 😮‍💨 The biscuit goes a gooey cakey texture from the caramel. 😅 I rate this a solid 4/5.

Anyone tried the triple chocolate farm bake cookies with a tin of berries? 👀 Asking for a friend🤣

These really are the easiest cheapest kōhanga snacks! 🤩 @makeretemiringa coming in clutch again with the kōhanga snacks on a budget. 🙌🏽

1 x vanilla cake mix @woolworths_nz
1 x tin of fruit
Sprinkles 🧁

Add the juice to the cake mix first. Once the consistency is right, add the fruit and sprinkles. Bake on 180C for 10-15 minutes.

This is a great one to do with the tamariki, minimal ingredients means minimal mess. 😉 Anyone tried the chocolate cake mix with berries? 🤔

Part 2 of the slow cooker series. Today I tried one of @makeretemiringa 4 ingredient slow cooked meals and OMG! This has got to be my new fave slow cooked meal to date. A solid 10/10 and having been in the slow cooker for a few hours the meat was so tender and soft. The onion soup mix gave it so much extra flavour. #slowcooker #nzmeals #easyrecipe #easydinner #crockpot

Cinnamon buns for Sunday brunch - make start to finish in 3 hours flat.

I used recipe by @makeretemiringa Cheese and Bacon Rolls Recipe which she also says was inspired by @sara_elcock ❤️.

Make dough as per @makeretemiringa instructions but because I converted to a sweet recipe, I omitted the salt and added 2 tsp sugar.

Once dough had done it’s 2 hour rise, I rolled it out and spread a combination of brown sugar, olivani (or butter) and cinnamon on top. Measured by heart but approx 1.5 tbsp Olivani, 1 cup brown sugar, 1.5 tsp cinnamon.

Next, precut strips of dough and rolled them up. Place in a lined baking dish and let rise for 30mins before baking.

Baked at 180deg celcius for 30mins.

Once cooled, iced with cream cheese icing.

So good! They were a hit for a family Sunday Brunch! 💖
