POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Morocco, May again. Our third year here, the ninth retreat we’ve shared.

I, Andrea, came back. Ella joined for the first time - fresh eyes, open heart. :)

Marrakech does something to you.
It’s in the air, thick with spices and heat.
Scooters, shouts, music, colours, dust - a rhythm you don’t forget.

We found stillness in the middle of it all.
Mornings with breath and movement.
Laughter over shared plates.
Evenings that stretched long with stories and silence.

It wasn’t perfect.
Messy, sun-tired, cracked open in quiet ways.
But we met each other there, where the noise settles and something true begins.

Full-hearted.
A little dustier.
Already dreaming of coming back.

And yes…
the cats are still waiting.

Yama (यम) — Restraints that guide how we show up with others and in the world. Think: nonviolence, truth, fairness, mindful energy, and letting go of attachment. Off the mat, these ethics become the slow, consistent choices that shape our days. Origin: Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras

Week 1 down of my 300hr @becomeayogi journey 🪷📿

Time is flying, yet somehow it feels like I’ve been here forever. The friendships I’ve made feel like connections from lifetimes ago, and the growth I’ve experienced in just days feels like what should take years.

Grateful beyond words for this space, these souls, and the magic unfolding already.

Thank you to my teachers @kestyoga @kierstie_payge @shelbss44 @yogi_alex_hya for making this experience one I’ll remember forever 🫶🏼

And so grateful for your gifted eye @benkalra 🥹

One day, we close our eyes…and we don’t open them again.

We don’t get to bargain for more time.
We don’t get to say, ‘Wait, I wasn’t ready yet.’

We’re here, now. Breathing. Alive. With dreams tucked inside of us that so badly want to be lived out loud.
The truth is — fear will always whisper reasons to stay small.

But yoga reminds us: fear is just energy. It can move. It can change.

You don’t have to wait until you’re ‘ready’ or ‘perfect’ to begin.

You don’t have to know every answer before you take the leap.

You just have to listen to the part of you that knows there’s more. That craves expansion. That came here to experience it all.

If your soul has been craving something deeper — a way to know yourself, a way to share your light — this is your sign.

This is your reminder: the life you dream of is already waiting for you to say yes.
Start before you’re ready. Trust yourself. Leap.

(PS: A yoga teacher training might just be the beginning of the most beautiful unfolding…)
