UPDATE‼️ Been super busy lately but we are back and posting from our latest food places. Finally got to sit in a movie theater 📽 and see “Nobody” (definitely recommend) and got fine dining as well 😊 Not many people were there but the service was great. It’s important to not only support local restaurants but also businesses!

Since moving South of the river when the panorama(😜) started last year, we’ve supported one local business more than any other, @cerroazul_midlothian and @cerroazulpowhatanpva. The is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Richmond. Their Powhatan location features $1.00 margs on Thursdays, and is usually a happening spot so go early or be prepared to wait (especially with reduced seating capacity.) Recently, we’ve been visiting their Midlothian location to avoid the wait and to order our favorite thing, their Mango margaritas. One of these days I’ll order the large, but I usually go for the medium—it’s plenty and oh, so, delicious. Pictured here is their dinner special from tonight, a plate of quesabirria tacos. These tacos came piled high with brisket, queso and a delicious au jus type sauce for dipping. So so tasty! My favorite is their fajitas tacos(the jalapeño Mayo is 🔥) Do yourself a favor and go support the local establishment—you won’t regret it.

Is it just me or does it look like this crab is...dabbing? Idk that word makes me cringe but I can’t deny the resemblance. But hey it’s SOFT SHELL CRAB SZN in case you didn’t get the memo 🦀 If you haven’t tried one of these bad boys, NOW is your chance. Unlike your typical crab, you can eat the whole ass thing!! No fuss, no mess (unless you’re a mess like me), just chomp away. There are a few places around town to snag a softie, and @charlottesllc is one of them!! Located at the corner of Canal and 10th, this place is SO cute inside, and they have a little outdoor patio seating as well. This sando hit the SPOT and that remoulade/aioli on it was straight 🔥🔥 So much natural lighting in this space and all the good vibes 😎 The perfect place for lunch or happy hour or just hangin out! I think they’ve been whipping up some new drinks lately that I’d love to be sippin on 👀 Catch them serving up fresh deliciousness any day of the week (closed weekends)!
