Sometimes you have to slow down to appreciate how far you've come. 🧪💛

Bringing these Stretch Alchemist Experiences to life has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

From an idea in my head to rooms full of people stretching, laughing, connecting, and creating memories together.

I'm proud of what's been built, and even more grateful for everyone who's been a part of it. 🙏🏽

Hearing these words from someone who's known me since childhood was a reminder that sometimes others see the growth we're too busy working to recognize. Thank you Lexi ✨️

As I head into my Winter Arc, I'm taking my own advice: Respect the Grind. Respect Your Recovery. 💪🏽.

Thank you to everyone who's shown up, supported, collaborated, and believed in the vision.

More Stretch Alchemist Experiences to come. 🥂🧘🏽‍♂️

August was my birthday. September was Mal’IDEA’s 🎂💜
Two birthdays. Two sets of candles. A whole lot to celebrate.

August was a little reminder to celebrate me. The person behind the ideas, the late nights, the random “wait… what if I did this?” moments. And then September came around and it was time to celebrate the IDEA itself.

One year of Mal’IDEA.
If you’ve been here since SuciaSips, you already know how different this looks from where it started. And if you found me somewhere along the way, I'm glad you're here.

I'm closing out this season feeling grateful, a little nostalgic, and very curious about what's next.
Thank you, year one!

Now let's see what year two has in store.
Fall & Winter, I'm ready for you 🍂

Qué chingón es…

finally introducing the person behind the drinks, the pop-ups, the food, the bartending, las desveladas, el core core y todo este relajo qué es Mal’IDEA

Mi nombre es Veronica Maleni
Algunos me llaman Vero, some call me Mal, and honestly… I love both

And if you’ve ever wondered where Mal’IDEA came from… well, it’s literally Mal & IDEA.

Mal = Maleni
IDEA = las primeras letras de mis hijos

So basically… this whole thing started with me, my kids, and one little IDEA and somehow that IDEA turned into mobile bars, pop-ups, tacos, chilaquiles, cafecitos, aguas frescas, and so much more

Behind every drink, every plate, every setup and every crazy event is a whole lot of love, a big support system, and my little family reminding me why I started

Qué chingón es watching your IDEA become something real 🇲🇽✨

One year ago, I had no idea what Mal’IDEA would become.
And somehow, here we are.
What makes this even more special is that one year ago, I was doing the same event for the first time. And this year, I found myself back again but this time as a whole different version of Mal’IDEA.

A lot has changed in one year.
The menu changed
The setup changed
The ideas got bigger
I learned A LOT

I questioned myself more than a few times 🥴
and somehow, I kept going
But the reason I started? That part hasn't changed!
I wanted to create something that was mine. Something that brought people together through food, drinks, culture, and a little bit of “let's see what happens.”
And now I'm sitting here looking at this video thinking…
Damn I really did that

To everyone who has supported Mal’IDEA in ANY way over this past year. whether you bought something, booked me, came to a pop-up, shared my posts, told somebody about me, or simply said “I see you” thank you
This year wasn't perfect. It wasn't always easy. But it was mine.

Happy 1 year to Mal’IDEA 🥂💜
Here's to whatever year two has waiting for us.
It’s not a bad IDEA after all ✨

Goodbye August 💜

August was my birthday month, but the best gift wasn't something I could unwrap.
It was community.
Seeing people show up.
Seeing familiar faces.
Meeting new people.
Supporting local.
Walking together.
Eating together.
Celebrating together.

My birthday pop-up and the Mental Health Walk reminded me why community is so important. Because sometimes it's not about what you can give someone. Sometimes it's simply about showing up.
And y'all showed up! 🥹

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, shared, reposted, purchased, encouraged me, or simply stopped by to say hello.

Mal’IDEA wouldn't be what it is without the people around it 💞

An idea. A conversation between our cofounders. A board committed to doing the work.

That’s how MLP was birthed 😆

Today, this has grown into a community we’re incredibly privileged to build alongside each of you. Every member, volunteer, partner, collaborator, sponsor, and supporter has helped shape what MLP is today, and we never take that for granted.

SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO OUR BOARD!!
@carlafabianfit @malenisinlar @k_prezzy @hoanalobato @hjxaltipa @adiel_a_lopez & Heather

As we celebrate another year of growth, we’re filled with gratitude and even more excitement for what’s ahead. Thank you for believing in MLP and for continuing to grow with us.

This week we supported @cityoflynn citywide Glow Up Week initiative alongside @cardelizforlynn and an amazing group of youth volunteers to help clean up our downtown.

You’ll hear us say this over and over again but we believe that as entrepreneurs, small business owners, nonprofits, creatives, and residents of the city we can’t just ask our community to support us, we must also have to give back.

Showing up for our city means taking action, not just talking about what needs to change.

A big thank you to the GAR Museum for the private tour after the cleanup. If you haven’t visited yet, we highly recommend it! They’re open Tuesday–Saturday from 10 AM–4 PM (book your tour in advance). It’s one of Lynn’s hidden gems with an incredible story to tell.

Thank you to everyone who came out and lent a hand. Every little effort adds up!
