This year, you need to add the Sahani tamu pop up to your 2024 list of culinary experiences. This pop up is perfect for the curious foodie, date night, taste buds dates, as a gift etc. Stay tuned for the announcement of the next pop up date 😉. #sahanitamuke

We hosted our first brunch @malomalo254 on the 18th and it went better than expected.

We will be having a bigger one on the 3rd of December 2023 to celebrate our restaurant's theme-Swahili cuisine.

We will serve dishes like mandhi, chooza and hanid made by our coastal chefs.

The full menu will be posted soon.

Thanks @foodlover_ke @mamas.plate @_kimwemwe @waceraa @simpleyemi @kaneskitchenaffair @food_escapadeske @niksfoodventures davidkinyanjui @didashebbs_kitchen and all the foodies who were kind enough to accept our invitation. We hope to host you again.

We missed you @lolo_elle

Thanks @picture__guru and team for this amazing video.

Long time no see@sossi_kenya.This @sossi_kenya wrap was nspired by @mamas.plate

Directions
-Start by soaking your sossi chunks in hot water for 2minutes.
-Then shallow fry your onions together with the soaked sossi chunks
-Then add any colored bell peppers to add more color to the sossi chunks(I used one yellow bell pepper). You can use either green or red bell peppers and add them in varied amounts.
-Only add soy sauce and tomato paste to the mixture as sossi comes already flavored
-Then steam your cabbage together with onions on low heat/Use any vegetable to your liking .This adds some sort of of crunchiness to the wrap.
-Spread cream cheese on your wrap then add the sossi and steamed cabbage on your wrap properly.
-Add dhania to garnish.
