♥️💃🏼♥️ A love letter to Gracie ♥️💃🏼♥️

An idea for a dress might begin with a vintage piece I’d found and/or themes that started to appear in my scrapbooks. Sometimes just a sketch scribbled on a Post-It... (hello Wanda!). From there, for each dress, a whole personality would start to appear and a name follow.

Gracie was inspired by a 70s navy cotton vintage dress I found, that was covered in a small heart print. I wanted a dress that was a romantic ruffled floaty dancing extravaganza. If I’ve room for only one RADISH in my case, she’s the one i’ll pack. She first appeared in our launch collection and I’ve made editions in all the colours since. If i’d have known the adventure she’d take me on...

It was hard to pick, but here are a few of my favourite Gracie moments :

1. @tahneelonsdale in her studio, in LA. By @katebe_ .
2. @samiorenelda making magic.
3. In Barcelona, by @pipbourdillon .
4. The original supers.
5. Gorgeous Nina @frodayss .
6. When @silkenfavours says it’s her favourite dress 💃🏼.
7. Dreamy @dollyalderton .
8. @zarinashukri channelling the Gracie spirit.
9. @evamendes ❤️‍🔥
10. Her first appearance in our launch collection, shot by @robinmellor
11. The babe @cocofennell .
12. @zarinashukri in this🌻 by @pollyhanrahan .
13. @nikkiijoiner catching the light at golden hour in Topanga Canyon.
14. @manadanceco bringing double G magic.
15. SJ in Palm Springs.
16. Flirtation with a mini, by @pollyhanrahan
17. With her, at home, on the beach.

🚨You’ve 4 days left to shop🚨 Shop closes Monday 30th September ~ 9pm (BST).

Thank you for all the love this month.

When you think of dance you may think of sleek-fitting bodice’s and satin slippers worn in ballet, or even chiffon skirted gowns and heels fit to waltz across a ballroom.
Your mind probably doesn’t jump to images of women in chainmail marching across the stage to the beat of drums, with arms in full span and staring into the eyes of the audience.
This isn’t a tribal fanfare, but a stylistic challenge to the long-established view of women on stage. This is @manadanceco.

Glorious writer @ellebolland meets dance duo @colette_kite and @georgiaelskamarshall to discover how they’re redefining movement with strength, resilience, and a whole lot of attitude.
