Can a modest red brick home be renovated for a modern family without losing its place on the street?

The client for Maud Street came to @mancinimade with an inspiring goal: to renovate their existing home into a contemporary family residence without losing the heritage-rich character of Balwyn North’s established streetscape. In a neighbourhood that values its architectural legacy, balancing modern family needs with existing integrity called for both sensitivity and innovation.

🏡 Explore how Mancini Made achieved this with MAUD → link in bio.

Two years ago I started at @knotwoodaustralia not knowing it would take me all across Australia, to Vegas and onto TV for the first time with Epic Builds.

Last week I wrapped up my time as the Social Media and Community Manager for the Australian team, and I’m now doing the same for Knotwood USA.

Shooting endless projects, creating content, meeting our partners, and building our social media presence, it’s been the best adventure.

We have the most fabulous team ever and i’m so proud of the work we have created together!

Thank you to everyone who was part of it! Excited to see what we build next.

For this project, the brief was centred around Japanese minimalism with a Scandinavian influence.

Simple yet stunning.

Telha Clarke Office | Armadale

Wrapping the building's exterior, glass blocks are the hero of our feature boardroom. The material palette remains pared-back and considered; natural timbers and Cipollino stone add warmth throughout.

Project Feature | Perth Street, Prahan Pt 2.

The decision that does the most work at Perth Street is also the least visible. Alta, from our Habitat selection, runs consistently through the entire home.

“Quality matters most with flooring, it takes the most wear while setting the tone for every space above it.”
— Anthony Mancini

It's the largest continuous surface in the house, the hardest working, and the one every other finish has to sit against. Run it throughout and you get flow from space to space: the kind of detail you feel rather than notice.

Swipe through, then read how it came together via the link in bio.
