Taking our little ones back to 1980s Korea 🇰🇷📸

We squeezed in a quick trip to Korea to celebrate the birth of Ruby and the end of Lawrence's parental leave before he heads back to work. School uniforms, an old corner store, and a retro café made it feel like stepping into our parents' generation, now with our own kids in tow.

Getting a toddler and a baby to sit still, look at the camera, and not cry at the same time? Nearly impossible. We got tears, squirms, silly faces, and maybe three seconds of everyone looking the same way. And I wouldn't trade a single one of those moments.

On this trip we also visited a family member who's been unwell, and it reminded me how fleeting life really is. We can't actually turn back time, and these little ones won't be this little for long. The days feel long, but the years go by fast.

Life with two kids is hard, and so is juggling full-time real estate with motherhood. Some days I'm stretched thin. But I'm reminded of my why: to provide for my family, and to use the gifts I've been given to help others find home.

Here's to living each day with purpose, showing up fully, and cherishing every chaotic, beautiful moment. ❤️

Grateful & Blessed that this all-girls trip happened ✨💕
Loved every minute of every day spending time with my mom & baby sis. Truly a trip I will forever treasure! Thank you, Lord!

Thanks @mandde_photography for capturing our beautiful Hanbok photos! 🥹

Look how beautiful my mom is! Always blessed that I get to call you my mom forever! Thank you for being my best friend & for always being one call away 💕 I love you mom!

And my sister (an answered prayer for me), all grown up now. A beautiful lady. I will always be here for you my little sister. In my eyes, you will always be that chubby, dancer girl who always calls me “achi” 🥹💕

And me, thankful for my husband for giving me this experience of a lifetime, for holding the forth at home for awhile 🥹

May we always live for the moments that become unforgettable and truly love every second that this gift of life presents because Jesus paved the way for us to have joy in Him.

Skincare on ten. Passport stamped. Plot fully thickened.

Korea gave me that solo travel clarity and a whole new skincare routine. My pores still haven’t recovered—from the glow-up, that is.

This trip reminded me: soft life starts with self-care. And yes, sheet masks count as emotional support.

Happy Wedding Anniversary, Daddy. ❤️

Nine years, and somehow you still choose me every single day.

Thank you for being my safe place, my biggest supporter, my provider, my favorite travel buddy, and the best dad Maxine could ever ask for.

Thank you for believing in me, even when my ideas sound a little crazy. You say “No.” a lot. 😂 But somehow, a few days later, you’ve already found a way to make it happen. Whether it’s another trip, another concert, another business idea, or another random adventure, you quietly make it work. I know your “no” isn’t because you don’t want me to experience those things. It’s because you’re already thinking about how we can do it the right way. Thank you for always finding a way to support my dreams, even the crazy ones. 🤭

Thank you for carrying so much for our family without asking for recognition. Thank you for working hard so we can live the life we’ve always dreamed of. I see every sacrifice, every long day, and every quiet way you take care of us. I appreciate all of it more than you know.

We’ve had our share of disagreements, but at the end of the day, it’s always us. So here’s my anniversary promise: I’ll do my best to argue less, listen more, and yes… I’ll try to let you win when I feel like starting an argument. I said I’ll try. 😂

One more humble request… payagan mo pa rin akong mag-concert hangga’t trip ko. Promise, uuwi pa rin naman ako sa’yo pagkatapos. Kahit mahal ko si Yoongi, Jungkook at Mingyu, mas mahal kita. 😜🤭

Thank you for making every adventure more meaningful, every ordinary day feel special, and every dream seem possible because I know you’re beside me.

Here’s to more passport stamps, spontaneous road trips, crazy ideas that somehow become reality, family adventures with Maxine, concerts you’ll patiently let me attend, and many more years of choosing each other.

I love you always. Thank you for being my home, wherever in the world we may be. ❤️🥂

A Spring I’ll Never Forget

Some dreams quietly stay in your heart until one day, you’re standing right in the middle of them.

Cherry blossoms in Korea have always been on my bucket list, and seeing them in full bloom felt like stepping into a scene I had only imagined. The view was even more beautiful than I dreamed. Soft pink trees stretching as far as we could see, petals dancing in the breeze, and blossoms gently falling around us like nature’s own confetti. It was one of those moments that makes you stop, smile, and simply take it all in.

What made it even more special was sharing it with the people I love. The laughter, the hugs, the candid moments, and the quiet appreciation for being there together are the memories I’ll hold onto long after the blossoms have fallen.

The cherry blossoms may only last for a short season, but the moments we captured beneath them will stay with us forever.

A dream destination, a breathtaking view, and memories that will bloom in our hearts for a lifetime. 🤍

If there’s one place you’ve always dreamed of seeing in full bloom, where would it be? I’d love to read your answers. 🌸

🤍 Save this for your future Korea trip.
🌸 Share it with someone you’d love to experience cherry blossom season with someday.

Some friendships don’t end when the semester does.

In 2019, we met as classmates in our Organizational Development class at Benilde. Life eventually took us on different paths, and although I wasn’t able to finish the course, one thing I gained was far more meaningful, a friendship that never faded.

Years later, here we are, wearing hanbok, laughing our hearts out in Korea on our very first trip abroad together. Looking at these photos, especially the last one, I couldn’t help but feel grateful. It perfectly captures how I feel. Thank you for saying yes to this adventure, for making the planning worth it, and for proving that the best trips are the ones shared with people who feel like home.

Here’s to more stamps on our passports, more spontaneous laughs, more stories we’ll tell for years, and more adventures together. 🥹💜✈️
