Four months? Is that how long I went between 5AM runs with the crew? Let’s not wait that long again.

Today’s poses were inspired by @wizkhalifa.

It had been too long since I had seen some of the crew. Our annual pancake breakfast brought us together, and the the pancakes sure hit the spot after 19 miles. Let’s do it again soon, friends!

We had quite the crew kicking up some dirt this morning. I was even shown some love from a couple of athletes.

The 10th and final #Run4Jennifer once again brought the community together. A thousand runners showed up for Kelly and her family to honor Jennifer. It’s been said, but it’s worth repeating - the Northwest Arkansas running community is one of the best!

Starting the weekend off strong! PR “run” distance for the Bunk. 7 miles of hills, water, sunrise and good times! Thanks Greg and Angie for including us and for loving on Bunk!

5.4 miles to start the morning to celebrate what would have been @tracyhillis11’s 54th birthday plus 4 miles with the training group. It may have been a chilly morning, but T warmed our hearts from above.

I know the end-of-year recaps aren’t for everyone, and many are probably tired of hearing the intro. I love making these and seeing all of yours. It gives me a chance to sift through hundreds of photos and videos from the past year, so kudos if you made it to the end of the reel. 2025 may have been tough, but there were still some positives I can be proud of. We celebrated a college graduate. I made a re-entry into the ultra world. Kids are thriving. Then there were the times that made this year tough. Having R3 cancelled and my childhood hero passing away back to back nearly did me in. I was able to overcome those with a tremendous support system and make it to the start line of my fifth hundo, even though it ended in disappointment. I ended the year with 1,979 miles on feet (1,862 running/117 walking).

I hope you go into 2026 with great aspirations, no matter how big or small they may seem. Thank you for following along on my journey!

A great crew can help you reach new heights! You can’t have mine though!

On what is likely my last run in 2025 on these gravel roads, many laughs were had this morning. I am grateful for these friends to share a few chilly miles with.

A Faux Turkey Trot before we put on our stretchy pants and chow down is the best way to start the day! Gobble gobble, friends!

There was some doubt this week that I could do this. I got into my own head. Dealing with a small bout of vertigo this morning didn’t help. But I have great friends who believed in me and shared a chunk of the miles with me. I needed this little confidence booster!
