#throwback circa 1994
There are few periods of my life I’d genuinely want to go back to, but my time studying at AADA West is definitely one of them. It was a chapter I enjoyed immensely—and one I miss dearly.
Shoutout to the OG crowd from Pasadena campus. @aadaedu

Addendum:
This is when social media is at its best. Reacquainting people. Stephanie Sterns was here:) She took this picture (on one of those real cameras that required developing film!)

Little Mandy… circa 1979.
Lavender & Butterflies was born from the quiet corners of my childhood. It is a tapestry of ballet, music, art, and my secret spot in the woods near where my grandmother grew up. The homestead was next to their crystal mine. I still remember the mossy floor I laid there, ringed with stones from my own rock collection. This book is a tribute to those early wonders—I hope the feature film experience will be just as magical. 🦋

We are so excited to have launched production on the docudrama biography on Negro Baseball League great Oscar Charleston. Filmmaking is the ultimate collaborative art form and I want to personally thank the fantastic cast and crew that I had the pleasure of filming with at League Stadium in Huntingburg these last few days. So many talented people fought through the elements to make this happen. Stay tuned for more info!
