O @manicburg gosta de fazer as coisas se chocarem no single "One for you and one for me". O novo single da banda nova-iorquina parte de uma estrutura pouco convencional, com compasso em 7/4, guitarras pesadas e mudanças de clima que aproximam pós-punk, post-rock e rock progressivo.

🎬 MEET THE ARTISTS

Northern Manhattan alternative rock quintet Manicburg “seems to extend across the Hudson and over the Big Apple in a sweetly dark and art deco fashion” (Sodapop).”intricately layered songs that pulse with depth and atmospheric richness” (It’s Psychedelic Baby), “a theatrical fresco of an urban society shattered by neurosis and collapse of certainties” (Distorsioni). Manicburg was formed in Manhattan on the banks of the Hudson River, centered around the writing and sonic visions of Ray Lustig and Luigi Porto, artists who met at Juilliard and straddle contemporary music and the rock stage. Their debut album, released in ‘24 on Respirano Records, blends songwriting, ritual, and electric tension, moving between a hypnotic mood, new wave impulses, and powerful narrative writing. They perform as a 5-person live band. In Feb. ‘26 they embarked on a mini Italian tour as a duo. Manicburg releases a live EP, Resist the Gravity, on June 12, 2026, and is currently working on their sophomore album.

🎬 MEET THE ARTISTS

John W. Lustig is an award winning filmmaker and animator based in Queens, NY. After studying film at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, he began making independent animated short films that have since screened at the most prestigious festivals worldwide, including the Annecy Festival (FR), Ottawa International Animation Festival (CA), and Hiroshima Animation Season (JP). He is currently writing his next animated short film.
