When you think of coffee…

You might remember
the way the beans smelled
before you ground them;
and after
you may taste the memories
of so much laughter
shared between you and your dearest
lovelies.
But for me,
I remember
how this drink
crafted with care, love and spunk
may be the only light
in someone’s day.
How what I say
may alter the course
of their path.
How the way I listen
may just make their eyes..
Glisten.
A little more,
love, joy, calm..
They may think
it’s just another cup of coffee,
when in reality,
it’s what makes me so happy.

These last four months at the Fillin have been so filled with laughter and spunk. I am so incredibly grateful to work in a space that cultivates and encourages creativity and individuality. I am even more incredibly grateful for a husband who supports me in everything, not excluding my job as a barista. Logan comes to get a cup of coffee every shift I work, and is so excited for me and my love for this job.
So thank you babe, thank you Fillin, and thank you Mankato for helping make this job easy to love.
Cheers loves 🤎☕️🫖
