As our kids have grown and one has moved out east for studies, it’s become harder to schedule time together as a family.

One of our favourite places to visit is @posthotelspa. It’s a beautiful drive from Calgary, and with hospitality that extends even to our pup, it was the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day.

From exploring nearby trails, to the most spoiling Afternoon Tea, Post Hotel was the perfect setting to enjoy delicious food over meaningful conversations with maybe just a little too much laughter 🤭

Life won’t slow down, but we’re glad to be able to steal away and create beautiful memories with the people that matter most.

It’s been the busiest summer in memory, and it’s been awhile since we’ve been able to steal away even for a day to recharge and spend time in our neck of the woods. Grateful to live in such a beautiful place and have time to soak up the most gorgeous fall with my best friend …

Gotta say it’s nice to be back in my studio with fresh perspective, new motivation, and all my residency pieces speaking to me from the shelves. I’m working on a pile of commissions placed before Italy and it feels like I’ve returned with extra bright eyes. Manna, my fluffy pup has also missed me as she hasn’t left my side in the studio, needing extra ear scritches with clay covered hands.

I was cleaning out hard drives and found this footage of baby @manna.thepomsky 😍 It’s true she can be a bit of a diva, and I’m allergic (true fact), but we’re so glad she found her way into our hearts and home ❤️❤️

Special thanks to @song_of_blue_eyes for being the best first home for her and for helping us doggie noobs through the adoption. 🙏
