October | Week 1 & 2 : Exploring New Horizons ✨

From exploring AI tools to developing practical skills, our fellows learned through hands-on activities, teamwork and reflection.

As an integral part of the Gandhi Jayanti event, fellows contributed from planning to execution. They managed decorations, registrations, competition coordination, certificate writing, anchoring and crowd management.

They explored AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Copilot, and participated in a skill-barter session where fellow Priyanka Atpadkar introduced her co-fellows to Arri embroidery.

Sessions on gender and life skills, professional communication, career development, Excel, Canva and financial literacy helped fellows build practical skills and reflect on future choices. A screening of Laapataa Ladies encouraged further reflection and discussion.

#ThrowbackThursday | Embracing Gender 🌈💜

Looking back at a summer filled with meaningful conversations, learning, and wonderful memories with the girls at Mann Deshi Foundation!

Felicia Nadar, a Social Impact Intern from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, conducted a series of summer workshops exploring gender roles, identities, introduction to Queer community and the importance of challenging stereotypes and discrimination.

This experience was truly eye-opening and offered so much to reflect on. Felicia had an absolutely amazing time with the girls, and the conversations they shared made this journey even more special. 💗

Some experiences leave us with new perspectives and lessons that stay with us long after they end. ✨
