One of the things you’ll notice about Mano’s teaching is his attention to detail.
Sometimes the smallest adjustment—or the right prop at the right moment—completely changes the experience of a pose.
This is the kind of thoughtful observation and hands-on guidance you’ll experience throughout our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, beginning August 22.
Curious? Join us for a class and experience it for yourself. 🌿 DM YTT to get started :)

When you first come to the studio on the mat, the goals of #yoga are unclear. The practice seems like just beautiful patterns that can be formed with your hands, legs, and spine. But asanas are not gymnastics, otherwise, all gymnasts would be enlightened. Yoga is about where your mind is during the practice, where your attention is directed, and how you deal with the feelings, emotions, and everything else that arises as a reaction to being in the asana.

You have 1.5 hours to focus on the body, breath, and sensations, here and now, surrendering to the flow. You practice with challenge without allowing the mind to escape, maintaining concentration. Then comes shavasana, when control and concentration are fully released.

👉 This is what leads to an altered state of consciousness at the end. In this space, true self-discovery begins to unfold. Here, you may eventually start to realize who you truly are.
