Foods and drinks in Ireland part 1.
1. Old Mill Restaurant - Cottage Pie and Irish Stew. It’s good and it’s plentiful.
2. Mantle - ice latte. Absolutely delicious.
3. Rolling Donut - S’mores with St. Stephen’s Green in the background
4 and 5. Kopi Tiam - Nasi Lemak set, I forgot what mine is called but kinda like kwetiau siram (100 out of 10), chicken satay and shrimp balls.
6. Gullivers - Iced Latte
7. Mrs. Reid’s - honestly, this was dry. It’s highly recommended by the internet but this was like maybe a 4 out of 10.
8. Newgrange Visitor Centre cafetaria food - Fish Sticks and Crab Cakes. They give you salad on the side!!
9. What do you think this is from? I forgot what we had. It’s not that memorable.
10-11. Snacks! Chip was meh. Yogurt was great!
12. Two Pups - coffee and croissant. Good croissant, okay coffee.
13. Bunsen Burger - pretty good. Amazing menu. Burgers and Fries, that’s it.
14-16. Petronella - Salmon and Chowder for appetizers and Chicken and Fish for entree. Coffee Creme Brulee to finish. Delicious!
17. Passion Fruit Martini as welcome drinks at Kilkenny River Hotel
18. Hotel came with complementary breakfast.
19. Cafe La Coco - Blueberry Scones!
20. Italian Connection - Goat Cheese something and Meatballs for appetizers.

One salad icon is gone, one full Irish has arrived, and one Dublin cocktail bar has disappeared down a rabbit hole.

Sprout has 86’d the Satay Bowl, Sando Paradisio is doing breakfast, Maharani has won Best Irish Vodka, and the diary is filling up with free focaccia, wine pairings and summer dinners. The week’s actual bad news: Mantle is leaving Temple Bar on Sunday.

Slide through for the details. Ready for your consumption this Friday!

….

We would like to say a special thank you to @mantle.coffee for letting us use the cafe for the last time as we are looking to move to a bigger venue, great complaint I know , but we will always remember where we started and thanks to everyone involved especially Steven !

📍 Mantle, Temple Bar

Such a cool spot. Genuinely the most intimate coffee experience I’ve had here in Ireland. 16 square meters small and serving up the funkiest (in a great way) coffee.

I loved it. Defo will be back. This cafe is making my return visit list.
