What an incredible semester this has been! The talent of these ladies deserves endless call outs, but our only enemy is time. We were so blessed to have Rachel Nix entrust her book to us, and for Professor McCall to create this opportunity for the students here at UNA.

We also want to say one last thank you to all of you for your support as we worked on publishing "I Don't Go Down That Road Anymore". We could not have made this work without all the love and encouragement throughout this whole process and for you reading the book, so thank you!

Stay tuned for next year with a whole new book, author, and student team!

Meet our cover designer: Manuela Ludolf!

The day we received the poems from Nix, we were sitting in class discussing our first impressions of the book. Manuela leaned forward excitedly and admitted that she already had ideas for the cover.

Within a week of having "I Don't Go Down That Road Anymore", Manuela had made what is now our beloved book cover.

Manuela was such a fantastic member of our team. It is hard to picture the publishing process going as smoothly as it did without her. She is a hard worker, talented editor, and brilliant writer.

We have no doubts that wherever she goes from here, Manuela will do great things!

We had a successful book launch Monday! We couldn't be more grateful to Rachel Nix, Professor McCall, and the UNA English Department for granting us this wonderful experience as students!

Also, we want to send a massive thank you to everyone who was able to show up to the Zoom party on Monday, or has since then read "I Don't Go Down That Road Anymore". We have been swarmed with love, excitement, and support this week for what we have been doing and each of us girls are eager to see what comes next.

This student publishing team is stacked with very talented, driven ladies, who did what most publishing presses take around a year to produce in about two months. We hope to reveal some of our behind-the-scenes process next week and highlight some of these ladies' accomplishments in Lion Bridge Publishing.

If you haven't gotten to read the book yet, you can find it linked in our bio or by copy and pasting this address:
