🍁❤️ This Thanksgiving, our hearts are full of gratitude!

As we look back at the incredible moments from Navatara’s Indian Food Festival of Ottawa 2026, we’re reminded that this festival is so much more than food, music, and celebrations — it’s about community, togetherness, and the beautiful memories we create together.

From our amazing vendors and talented performers to our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, partners, media friends, and every single person who joined us — THANK YOU for making this our biggest festival yet, with over 15,000 visitors! 🙏✨

This aftermovie is a little glimpse of the magic we created together. Every smile, every bite, every beat, and every moment was made special because of YOU. 🧡

We are incredibly grateful to the Ottawa community for embracing our vision and helping us celebrate the richness and diversity of Indian culture.

🎬 Relive the memories. Celebrate the community. Feel the magic.

From our Navatara family to yours, wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! 🍂

With gratitude,
Team Navatara ❤️

This is how fall sounds in my head, in fact for every Bollywood fan 🍂💙 Golden leaves, old songs and a heart full of memories. Perhaps, autumn makes you feel like a Yash Raj movie set🍂

A plate full of colour and flavour at @naan.kabob ! 🔥🍽️

Tandoori chicken kebab, rice topped with carrots and raisins, crunchy cucumbers, mixed greens, pickled cabbage, and tomato-onion salad—plus hummus and avocado dip for those perfect bites. 🤤🥑

Are you mixing everything together or enjoying each bite separately? 👇

Some seasons are meant to be felt like Bollywood 🎶🍂 It’s that time of the year where the trees turn golden and your heart starts playing the old nostalgic Bollywood track 🍂

One of the most important parts of Capital’s Diwali Mela is showcasing our local businesses and the incredible work they bring to our community.

Many of our vendors have been preparing for months—creating beautiful products, putting in long hours, and getting ready for both Diwali and Karwa Chauth.

So my message to Ottawa is very simple: just show up with a great heart and positive energy. Come enjoy the celebration, meet our local entrepreneurs, do lots of Diwali and Karwa Chauth shopping, and support the people from our own community who work so hard to build their small businesses.

When we shop local, we’re not just buying a product—we’re supporting someone’s dream, their hard work, and their family.

Food I tasted at @simplysouth_scarborough as below
🍚Mutton biryani -which was served with egg ! You can order for up to 3 people or 1 person
🍤Mangalore prawns 🍤- A starter which was so authentic, deep fried and coconut grated on top
🥣Chicken soup - Truly home style
🫶🏻Pesarattu -always wanted to taste it from a good spot ! This spot satisfied my cravings
🤌🏻Bobatlu - you should never miss this dessert! They have ball version too
☕️Their tea and coffee should not miss it !

Happy 4th birthday to my precious son, Hridaan! 🎂💙
Your beautiful name means “a person with a great and kind heart,” and you truly live up to it every day.

Amma has never considered you a reason for not progressing in life. Instead, after you came into my world, I achieved bigger things and became stronger, more focused, and more responsible in so many ways. Though you are my naughty little boy, you have taught me patience, courage, and unconditional love.
You fill our lives with endless happiness and laughter. Watching you grow is one of my greatest blessings. May you always keep your loving heart, joyful spirit, and sweet smile.
Amma loves you more than words can ever express. Happy 4th birthday, my little sunshine! 🎈🥳❤️
