When a client asks for a neutral, Tabitha at @maplerestorations reaches for the same color every time: Fauna.

It’s not quite white, but it definitely isn’t beige. That soft in-between lets the lines and brass pulls on this 1940 set stand out, and the paint applies beautifully too.

Here’s to this piece lasting another 85 years.

Cabin Window Kinusaiga - Each panel is beautiful on its own, but absolutely gorgeous all together. I adapted the design from emblibrary.com. Many thanks to @maplerestorations for taking a frame that was too shabby to be chic and turning it into something high end. #kinusaiga #fabricart #upcycling #cabin #mountainview

From scratched and sad to seriously stunning. This little Bassett MCM dresser came in rough, but Tabitha at @maplerestorations had a vision. Custom drawer overlay panels gave her that gorgeous fluted effect without a single saw cut. Seriously that easy.

The body is painted in Fauna, finished with Furniture Salve in Tobacco Flower, and the legs are stained to perfection. Every detail lands just right. Even her daughter called dibs. That’s how you know it’s good.

When a client asks for Plum Velvet, you say yes every single time. Tabitha at @maplerestorations trusted the vision and this dresser delivered. One Hour Enamel in the most luxe shade we make, styled to perfection. We love seeing bold color lovers find their people. 💜

There’s greige… and then there’s Gray Linen — calm, warm, and quietly luxurious 🤍

Tabitha at @maplerestorations has absolutely nailed this transformation. Gray Linen is one of those colours that just settles into a piece — soft, subtle and beautifully balanced — and this finish shows it at its very best.

The close-up tells the full story: a silky-smooth greige surface, perfectly paired with those champagne brass pulls for a gentle, sophisticated sheen. And that washed ash top? Such a gorgeous complement to Gray Linen’s warm undertones — elevated without being loud, timeless without trying too hard.

It’s the kind of transformation that feels calm, welcoming, and effortlessly put together — exactly why Gray Linen continues to be such a favourite among furniture refinishers across Australia 🤎

Beautiful work, Tabitha. Truly inspiring craftsmanship.

Tabitha at @maplerestorations absolutely knocked it out of the park with this beauty! We’re obsessed with how our Gray Linen greige creates that perfect neutral backdrop, while the Bourbon Vanilla Furniture Tonic adds that luxe fall vibe (because who doesn’t want their furniture to smell like a cozy, inviting home? 🍂).

That tan washed ash top? Chef’s kiss - the perfect complement to Gray Linen’s warm undertones. And priming in our Light Gray first? That’s the pro move that gives you that flawless, rich finish.
Ann’s eye for detail shines through - from preserving those brass pulls with a champagne mist update to that gorgeous paint-washed top. This is the kind of transformation that proves the right greige can do EVERYTHING.
