Starting a business has a funny way of exposing the parts of yourself you’d rather not look at. 🫣

Like the perfectionism you thought was just you having high standards.

Or the procrastination you thought was a productivity problem.

Sometimes the very thing keeping you stuck is a pattern you haven’t learned to recognize yet.

And once you can NAME it? You can actually do something about it.

In this episode, @mappingmarypat and I talk about the unexpected inner work that comes with building a business and what happens when you finally see what’s been holding you back.

Comment “ROAD” and I’ll send the entire episode to your inbox!

Year NINE at Workout Harder Fitness, and we’re still finding new ways to challenge ourselves! 💪🏾🔥 Today, five amazing people, myself included, stepped outside our comfort zone and conquered the Hartford Marathon Relay in just over 4 hours and 30 minutes! Before our team even finished, I had already run and walked the distance of a full marathon. CRAZY! 😂 Proud of this crew for showing up, pushing through, and proving that growth has no finish line. 🏅

I’ve been called nearly every name in the book. Some came from mistakes I made and had to own, but many came from feelings, hearsay, and battles within other people that had little to do with my true character. I have also been guilty of labeling others, and I am not proud of it. As I continue to grow, I am learning to keep negativity from leaving my mouth, even when it enters my mind. Calling someone a name may make us feel better for a moment, but it does not make us right. Their actions do not give us permission to define their entire character. Scripture reminds us, “Judge not, that you be not judged.” Calling someone a name does not define their character. It reveals yours. My growth will be measured not only by what I refuse to become, but by how carefully I speak about people when they are not in the room. Real strength is having every reason to tear someone down and still choosing to leave their dignity intact.

💥 EXPLOSIVE LEG DAY 💥

Legs twice a week, but with two different purposes. One day is strictly STRENGTH. The other is POWER.

Today’s work: squat jumps, box jumps, box jump overs, and split jumps. At 53, I’m not just training to be strong. I’m training to stay explosive, athletic, quick, and capable.

Getting older is inevitable. Losing your athleticism without fighting for it isn’t. Keep jumping. Keep moving. Keep challenging yourself. 💪🏾🔥

oing push-ups balanced on four medicine balls is just bananas! 🍌💪🏾 Every ball is filled with air, every ball moves, and one small shift can throw everything off.

That’s life.

We’re constantly trying to balance work, family, health, relationships, responsibilities, and our own peace. Sometimes everything feels steady. Other times, the ground moves beneath us without warning.

The goal isn’t perfect balance. It’s developing the strength, focus, and patience to keep adjusting without giving up.

Life will shake you. Stay centered, find your balance, and keep pushing! 🔥

🔥 THE 60-DAY CHALLENGE IS COMING! 🔥

Workout Harder Fitness is getting ready to turn it ALL THE WAY UP for our 60-Day Member Challenge! 💪🏾💚💛

For 60 days, we’re going to push each other, support each other, laugh together, sweat together, and LEVEL UP together. This isn’t just about changing your body. It’s about strengthening the community and proving what happens when we live by our ABCs:

✅ Accountability - We show up for ourselves AND each other.
🤝 Bonding - We grow stronger together.
🔥 Consistency - We keep showing up, especially when we don’t feel like it.

Picture this: 60 days from the start, the same crew standing together, stronger, closer, more confident, and proud because WE FINISHED WHAT WE STARTED. 🏆🐶

The energy is about to be CRAZY. The camaraderie is going to be SPECIAL.
