‘Vanity of vanities; all is vanity’ Ecclesiastes 1:2. I used to think this meant that nothing mattered. Now I wonder if it means that nothing can be held.
We spend our lives in moments that we cannot keep, only recognizing their preciousness as they become memories. The years, the people we love, the places that feel like home, all of it passing through our hands like water.
We cannot keep in our grasp what is fleeting.
Only the Lord is eternal.

Something about September and a day with no plans.

One of those weddings where the celebration just kept getting better as the night went on.

Beautiful details, a packed dance floor, and eventually, dancing in the rain and soaking up every minute of it.

These are the weddings we remember for years to come.

There is nothing in me that makes me worthy of the grace I have been given and I forget that sometimes.

I am a sinner who has been loved anyway.
A mess who has been met with mercy.
I am a broken human, I take for granted, I idle, I lack trust and patience.

The lord has never owed me another morning, another breath, another chance, another answered prayer.. and yet he gives.
Not because I deserve it or have finally gotten my life together, but because he is good.

His grace is not a reward for the person I want to become. It’s mercy for the person I actually am.

This little family is proof of God’s grace and steadfast love.

There are some wedding days that stay with you long after the last dance, and this was one of them. ✨

From the setting at @northstargatherings to the energy of the evening, every detail came together beautifully.

And then there was dessert… which definitely had a moment. 🍨

Warm chocolate chip cookies and brownies served in cast-iron skillets, topped with whipped cream, hot fudge, salted caramel, vanilla ice cream, and cherries.

Our Nitro Dots Station brought a little something extra to the evening, featuring chef-created flavors like Toasted S’mores, Chai Latte, and Coconut Sorbet.

A beautiful day, a joyful celebration, and an incredible couple at the heart of it all 🤍

You can feel all the summers lived here.

The Big House. Built in 1912. On the banks of the St. Croix River.

Fifteen days, nine states, seven national parks, four thousand miles traversed, two rusty rotors, a few disagreements, many more beautiful moments, a once in a lifetime trip

Love is in the air, and so is a much-needed summer breeze. 🤍

From fans fluttering in happy hands and chic sunglasses blocking the rays, to poolside views, ice cream treats, and wind-in-your-hair moments, beating the heat has never looked more effortless. 🍦

i do not care about AI. i do not care about the new way to achieve glass skin. i do not care that selena and benny were just spotted at the so-and-so cafe. i do not care about the new parfum exclusively at macy’s the fragrance destination. i do not care what your cousin’s friend thinks about bitcoin. sorry, i do not care about your amazon storefront. and i definitely do not care that the new season of love island is streaming now only on peacock. you can care about these things if you want, but i don’t and they can’t make me. i am an icon of the most holy God, indwelt with the Divine and separated as His own. I am a living breathing idol of cosmic proportions. i live in the now-not-yet kingdom and i am an heir there. i am being refined back to my original design: Good. so i do not care about AI. i care about you. my Lord does too. and my Lord and i do not care about what you’ve done in the past. quite frankly my dear it has all been paid for.
