«Out of Glarus» – horgenglarus x H100

Im Rahmen der Zurich Design Weeks laden wir euch herzlich zum Ausstellungs-Apéro ein:

H100–Das Möbelhaus, Hohlstrasse 100, Zürich

Für einen Abend zieht Glarus nach Zürich – mit horgenglarus Klassikern und Neuheiten des Schweizer Möbeldesigns, Glarner Textildesign, lokalem Handwerk und ausgewählten Designschätzen aus der Region.

Zum Apéro erwarten euch Glarner Spezialitäten und feine Drinks, musikalisch begleitet von «Bob Meier & the Nailers».

#EXHIBITION #WORKSHOP #TALK @h100_zh takes on a Glarus-inspired look:The focus is on horgenglarus, Switzerland’s oldest chair and table manufacturer, alongside local crafts and design treasures from the region. At various workshops, you can become a craftsman or craftswoman yourself and, among other things, learn a traditional Central Swiss binding technique for making brushes.

«Out of Glarus» – horgenglarus x H100

Glücksbringer aus Stoff – Schlüsselbund aus Schweizer Siebdruckstoffen

Für den Workshop habe ich mein textiles Archiv durchstöbert und eine Auswahl bunter, eigenwilliger Stoffreste von DANZ und aus der Textildruckerei Mitlödi zusammengestellt.

Nach einer einfachen Anleitung flechten wir daraus individuelle Schlüsselbunde – ergänzt mit eigenen Bändern, Materialien oder kleinen Fundstücken.

Ein Workshop zum Entdecken, Kombinieren und Experimentieren mit Farben, Mustern und Texturen. Aus textilen Resten entsteht ein kleines Unikat zum Mitnehmen – Erinnerung, Glücksbringer und täglicher Begleiter zugleich.

A reminiscence from a few weeks back…
Mode Suisse 2026 came and went, but some moments stay with us a little longer.

The anticipation before the shows. The conversations, the familiar faces and new encounters. Designers, artists, collaborators, friends — and all of you who came to see, to support, to be curious and to share the moment with us.

Fashion may be what brings us together, but it is the people who give it meaning.

As we close this edition, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every guest who joined us, to everyone who worked behind the scenes, and to all those who continue to believe in Swiss fashion, creativity and the importance of coming together around it.

Thank you for being part of Mode Suisse 2026.

My third @modesuisse 🧡
The moment @katkagriesbach greeted me at the staircase with such a radiant smile and said how wonderful it is to have me back with the team for the third time, I knew these would be two beautiful days. 🥰
Everywhere I turned, I was met with warmth and smiles.
I think this is one of @yannickaellen 's secrets: when something works,
hold it with love and respect,
build on it together, because that's the key to success.
And what a beautiful feeling it is to be a small part of such a massive project,
from the outside it might look like a big, noisy, colorful beehive 🐝🌈 but from the inside?
The system is breathtaking.
Everyone knows their role, and they go above and beyond to help each other whenever someone needs support.
And it's impossible not to notice that no matter how exhausted he might be, Yannick always has a kind word or a smile for everyone 💓
I was lucky enough to receive some of these and locked into my heart and I took them home with me. 🎁 🙏🏻

When people ask about my favorite color,
I always say it's every shade of the sunset 🌅 & the ocean.
My wish came true, I wore this stunning burnt orange dress from @adambrodyzurich
and I couldn't have been happier surrounded by such a bold spectrum of colors and beautiful models. 🌈 It filled me with joy to see how these gorgeous, daring colors made everyone reach for their cameras again and again, and how they brought smiles to people's faces.
But this is only the beginning...
Once the light wins and these colors are dancing around like countless glittering jewels, they can never be contained again. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

@kets_academy & @constanza_martinez_up made magic again, thank you so much!
And thank you all the Guests, Friends, nice words, big smiles, for cold water bottles from the tall guy in the cantine, I don't know his name and he calls me the cakelady. @elvira.grau & @itspaolobaby I love you so much!! Thanks a million, see you next year !! Or sooner 😃
