My girls!!!

Words can’t describe the magnitude of appreciation I have for the ladies (including Isalina :p) that have held me, taught me, loved me, & have brought me closer to myself. To be known and to be seen is to be loved, and my, have I been loved. I know that no matter where life takes us, we’ll always carve our paths back to one another. I love y’all immensely. 💘

Love will find you,
sprouting,
stretching
towards a great perhaps

meet you at the door
with a map

she will keep you company at night
and return every morning

she will hold your heart
and move
like your name
across the breath
of another’s lips—
sweet,
tender,
sturdy.

you
are the seeds
inside
the windowsill planter

keeping air circulating

keep breathing.
keep believing.

2023… one of the best years of my life. Got to travel ✈️ the world and meet so many beautiful people. When you decide to look, the world 🌍 really can be a beautiful place ♥️ thank you to all I met and grew closer to, and thank you God for these opportunities! Even more than this trip happened in 2023, but since it was my favorite part had to do a post for it :) @efultimatebreak

The pride and joy I feel for these teachers is IMMENSE (hence why they make it on the gram). I didn’t really convey my emotions well last night (normal Stephen rambling), but I am so proud of you all. Echoing what I said last night, I am so bummed I didn’t get to spend more time with you all! A total vibe, every single one of you! Your dedication and commitment to your students has been a point of pride I have for all of you. I know not everyone is staying in the classroom after this year, but you are all staying in my heart. ❤️ I love you all and can’t wait for more adventures (because I’m not done hanging out with y’all!!) 💕✨

2021 quite literally was the best year of my life, hot take 💅🏻

SAP ALERT: I remember growing up, how much I wanted to leave my town. I never felt like I fit in, deep inside I knew I belonged in the city, out west, with a place/space for my incredibly large personality to grow. I knew it wasn’t my forever, and I spent my days dreaming of more. I dreamed of going to college (Ohio State specifically); the buckeyes have always had a hold on me, going out with friends, moving where there are lights all night, people with crazy outfits, and where the palm trees were. I spent my days with heads in cloud, pushing, working, and dreaming of happiness from a place that fulfilled me.

Last night, on my way out, surprisingly “Waking Up In Vegas” by Katy Perry came on. I remembered something so pivotal, and actually cried lol. I remembered dancing around my room 10 years ago to that song, wondering what it was like to wake up in Vegas everyday…well let’s just say now I know!

I realized, that my life had come full circle and I accomplished my dreams. I graduated from Ohio State, entered into a career where I help people (my students are my world), made and retained the best friendships, had some of the best nights of my life, traveled, and moved my life out west- to the city and the palm trees. Those goals I set for myself as a little girl came true. 2021 ended the era of my adolescence, young adulthood, and early 20s. It closed the book on the pain in some parts of my life, and opened up the doors for me to fulfill my life’s work to this point.

This year, I accomplished those goals a little girl dancing in her bedroom made 10+ years ago. I know I made her proud, and she would be GAGGED knowing the woman we became, and still developing into!

I wish I could go back and tell her now how loved, accepted, authentic, FUN, exciting, and bright her future becomes- just by being who she is. I wish I could tell her how much better it got ⭐️

Now, it’s time for a new era of my new dreams 💅🏻✨
