Our Work & Travel operations team, led by Supervising Operations Manager Kelly Asmus, along with Social Media Specialist Marcela Rojas and Work & Travel interns Vanessa 🇪🇨, Agustina 🇦🇷, and Attalie 🇨🇩, traveled to San Francisco to interview participants and employers at Boudin Bakery and Blazing Saddles about their summer. The trip also gave our interns the opportunity to put their content capture and digital marketing training into practice.

Many of our participants shared that this was their first time working, and spoke to the growth, responsibility, and independence that came with it. Our employers, Annelaine Clauss, Vice President at Blazing Saddles, and Doug Abbott, Vice President of Operations at Boudin Bakery, shared how the Work & Travel program contributes to the growth of their businesses and brings new perspectives into the workplace.

We are endlessly grateful for employer partners like Boudin Bakery and Blazing Saddles, who open their doors to our participants and contribute so positively to their growth. Together, we continue to change lives around the world, one experience at a time.

Stay tuned to hear more from them.

With 🇪🇸Spanish guitars, cajón and voices full of soul, they bring the fire of rumba flamenca mixed with Latin rhythm the kind of music that starts with listening and ends with everyone dancing.

Really grateful to have them joining us at Latin Fest.

Nos vemos en la pista. 🔥💃
