Faltam menos de 2 semanas para o fim da 16ª edição do Festival Circulations (e a minha primeira como membra da DA ✨).

Num momento em que fazer cultura é cada vez mais desafiador, é emocionante ver tanta gente reunida, especialmente tantas mulheres, dispostas a tensionar os limites da arte contemporânea, dialogar com o presente e provocar novos olhares.
Muito feliz por fazer parte dessa coletividade potente que insiste, acredita e luta 💥

Il reste moins de deux semaines avant la fin de la 16e édition du Festival Circulations (et ma première en tant que membre de la DA ✨).

À un moment où faire de la culture devient de plus en plus difficile, c’est émouvant de voir autant de personnes réunies, en particulier autant de femmes, prêtes à repousser les limites de l’art contemporain, à dialoguer avec le présent et à susciter de nouveaux regards.
Très heureuse de faire partie de cette collectivité puissante qui persiste, croit et lutte 💥

—Less than two weeks until the end of the 16th edition of the Circulations Festival (and my first as a member of the DA ✨).

At a time when creating culture is becoming increasingly challenging, it’s moving to see so many people gathered, especially so many women, willing to push the boundaries of contemporary art, engage with the present, and spark new perspectives.
Very happy to be part of this powerful collective that persists, believes, and fights 💥

Where Rest Turns to Motion

Although it might seem like we’ve been in hibernation - we’ve been slowly getting busy.

Between getting the Studios and other spaces up and running, we’ve also been catching up with admin and reports, planning projects for the year to come. We’re also starting to program for March onwards, we hope to have some exciting stuff to share soon. But for now, here are some random videos and pics to sum up the moment.

Last Friday, Eidolon Club vol. 12 brought us to London for an afternoon at Fyvie Hall with collectors, curators, and everyday photography lovers — all gathered around the images that often go unnoticed but matter the most. A huge thank you to our wonderful collaborative partners at Photoworks and the University of Westminster for making the experience possible. But the warmth didn’t stop there; the city gave us the chance to meet and spend time with some truly wonderful, vernacular-minded people beyond the event too. These photographs are a small token of the conversations we’re taking home with us. Until the next one!

Múlt pénteken az Eidolon Club 12. kiadása Londonba vitt minket egy délutánra a Fyvie Hallba, ahol meghívásunkra gyűjtők, kurátorok és mindennapi fotográfia iránt érdeklődő szakemberek gyűltek össze. Nagy köszönet együttműködő partnereinknek, a Photoworksnak és a University of Westminsternek, amiért lehetővé tették az együttműködést. A Londonban töltött idő alatt az eseményen túl is alkalmunk nyílt néhány igazán remek, a mindennapi fotográfia iránt érdeklődő szakemberrel is találkozni. Ezek a fényképek azoknak a beszélgetéseknek az emlékei, amelyeket magunkkal viszünk haza.

#GreifAlumni: We are incredibly proud to follow the evolving journeys of our alumni. Currently, the exhibition “Community: Photography and Belonging” at Kunstpalast Düsseldorf (@kunstpalast) features the compelling work of three Greif Alumni: Lilly Lulay (@lillylulay), Marcel Top (@marceltoptop ), and Amin Yousefi (@aminyosefi ). Curated by Linda Conze (@_lindamary_ ) and Miriam Homer (@miriandam), this show dives deep into how photography constructs our sense of belonging, moving beyond simple documentation to interrogate the power dynamics between the photographer, the subject, and the viewer.

From Lulay’s exploration of algorithmic social networks and Top’s subversion of AI surveillance to Yousefi’s powerful reclamation of archival revolutionary history, these artists challenge us to look closer at who is included, and who is left out of the frame. Their participation in this major exhibition, running until May 25, exemplifies the critical inquiry and artistic excellence we strive to foster. We are honored to watch our former students continue to ask the urgent questions: how much of what we see is real, and how much have we been guided to feel?

Aperçu du vernissage au @104paris pour l’édition 2026 du @festival_circulations ✨

Après une première expérience en tant qu’assistante communication l’an dernier, je poursuis cette année l’aventure au sein du cercle actif des bénévoles.

Ravie de pouvoir participer à un si beau projet aux côtés d’une équipe engagée et inspirante : Amélie Samson (coordination), et les DA Carine Dolek, Caroline Benichou, Emmanuelle Halkin, Ioana Mello, Laeticia Guillemin, Lucille Vivier-Calicat et Marie Guillemin.

Avec aussi la super team actuelle : Elia Coulot, Emma Gouzon, Lyne Thevenon et Zoé Thomas.

Une très belle occasion de découvrir la scène photographique européenne émergente ! Allez y ça vaut vraiment le détour !

Et bravo à @bigtime.studio pour la sceno !

Le samedi 21 mars, à l’occasion de l’inauguration du festival, Circulation(s) invite les artistes de cette 16e édition à performer devant leurs œuvres tout au long de la journée au CENTQUATRE-PARIS. Découvrez l’univers des artistes à travers des performances, lectures, signatures de livres, concert, salon de coiffure éphémère et même un faux meeting politique…

𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻(𝘀) 𝟮/𝟮

Depuis 2019, le festival 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻(𝘀) met à l’honneur, dans le cadre de son focus, une scène photographique européenne émergente particulière. Après avoir consacré les éditions précédentes à la Roumanie, la Biélorussie, le Portugal, l’Arménie, la Bulgarie, l’Ukraine puis la Lituanie en 2025, la 16e édition invite l’Irlande et présente les séries de quatre artistes issu·e·s de ce territoire.

Cette nouvelle édition du festival réunit au total 26 artistes de 15 nationalités. Sans thématique imposée, 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻(𝘀) offre ainsi un panorama vibrant de la jeune photographie européenne, entre intuitions formelles, engagements contemporains et nouveaux récits visuels.

What makes a ritual absurd? Which rituals feel normal and intimate to us, yet might seem irrational to someone else?

With these questions in mind, we explored the theme of Absurd Rituals in the latest installment of NOIA, supported by the talented @ranawassef as our guest art director.

Once again, we’ve been struck by the sheer variety of perspectives surrounding this theme.
