Meet Jackie Berland, the environmental designer! Jackie stitches the seams of the show together by fully immersing us in a haunted world from the minute we enter the House of the Exquisite Corpse!

Jackie is a Chicago based fabricator and immersive world activator. They work their little tushy off to open portals to unfamiliar places, new and old. They always have one eye in the fairy realm, and work to bring that into unexpected places. By stumbling into a fantasy, presentness and soulful encounters become as easy as breathing.

Come see Jackie’s installations between the rooms and marvel!

🐴Cast announcements for House of the Exquisite Corpse VI: LULLABIES are here!

There are 6 rooms and every room features 2 to 3 puppeteers (and countless puppets), but before that can come to be, we have our room creators!

These are the folks who conceive of the creation, tie it to the theme, make the puppets and write the story.

Meet the creators of “don’t you want to live it? don’t you want to live your dream?”

FELIX is a Chicago-based artist, puppeteer, and game-master. They are an Associate Company Member at Tuta Theatre and a longtime collaborator with Rough House, Chicago Children’s Theatre, and Manual Cinema. Follow Felix @Enero.Gap

Abby Palen is a spectacle puppeteer and storyteller based in Chicago, IL. Abby says “My art belongs in extremes. In tiny quiet basements, in the loudest part of the street, or in the middle of the woods, you can find me with a story and an image to share.”
Tickets are now available to see their work at “House of the Exquisite Corpse VI: LULLABIES.” Link in bio above.

Opens in just 8 days!

Unlike in *these pictures* (courtesy of fabricator @caitlinmcleoddesign ), you don’t always get to see the puppeteers behind these creations. But if you get the All-Inclusive package, you’ll have a chance to enter their rooms and say hello after the show (plus a few other perks).

🎟️All -inclusive tickets are available for the last show of the night on Thursdays and Sundays only. Link in bio for more details🎟️
