Avalon, video directed and edited by Marco Porsia. Artwork and lettering by John Nobrega. Where Does a Body End?”, dedicato agli Swans.

Grazie, big man. ❤️ Avalon, video directed and edited by Marco Porsia. Artwork and lettering by John Nobrega.

Marco Porsia was our videomaker in the early days, starting with *Boat or Swim*, our very first video, shot in Ancona between Torre beach and the Sala delle Coppe at the Mole Vanvitelliana, way back in 2000. Since then, we’ve shared concerts, unforgettable nights, and quite a few delirious adventures. Marco was born in Rome but has lived in Canada for years. Over time, he’s become a major figure in the world of music documentaries. Among his work is the wonderful *Where Does a Body End?*, about Swans.

The *Avalon* video came about while rummaging through old drives: Marco found some unused b-roll from the *Boat or Swim* days, all shot on Super 8. With John Nobrega’s invaluable graphic contribution, that precious footage found a new meaning.

We share a special bond with Marco. This is his contribution to Matteo and his work. Thank you, big man. ❤️
