I love @eyrellew sounds. Bloom, the new album, is out. We’re playing a show at @nest_notts next month to celebrate!

Sam, Jack, Jack and Russ wrote and recorded the album in 2023, before we began as a five piece in 2024. We’ve played songs from Bloom in Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Edinburgh, London, Brighton, Manchester, Leicester, Wrexham and Notts. If you like the sounds, we’d love to see you in November. Grateful to play my part 💙

EYRE LLEW live in St Mary’s of @cliftonparish in Clifton Village, Nottingham. This space is a beautiful Grade 1 listed, a Medieval church pre-dating 1086 incredibly. It was restored in 1846.

This is the first video of a three part series. We setup there to record a collection of songs old and new. Here is a song very dear to us from our South Korean Split EP ‘Carrier’ (2019) called ‘Silo’.

A huge thanks to Reverend Lydia Cartwright who welcomed us into this special space and to our amazing crew behind the scenes. Shout out to all the locals outside the church listening in while we were filming too! 😄

Get your guitar tones worked out for your songs before heading into the studio. Work on your guitar tones at home and co-ordinate with your engineer/producer ahead of time so you have a plan laid out. Big year!

🎸 Finished the @eyrellew second album,

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Ticked off four visits to Scotland with @heathskirk,
💿 Left @roughtradenottm as Bar & Events Manager,
😮 Became General Manager a 550 cap @saltboxbar,
😏 Got a new job promotion at… (soon tba),
🇩🇪 Played a festival in Germany with the band,
🎙️ Started recording a solo EP with help from @_russ_clark,
🐾 Saw our puppy Llew’s first birthday,
🚙 Got a new car,
🔊 Saw live shows with: @scareypics, @mk.gee_, @johnmayer, @bryanadams and loads more!
🎫 Played 4x sold-out headline shows with the band,
⛪️ Recorded some live songs in a church,
🇮🇲 Watched Ronnie swim to the Isle of Man and back,

🏰 Saw loads of sick castles,
🎨 Started a new Warhammer army,
🏔️ Went up a mountain with bub and the boys.

I appreciate my circle. 2025 I’m just going to try and spend more time with my friends and family, along with releasing some new music. x

Congrats to @rowanmarshrsmrecords on the release of his new single 'A Few Thorns' - was a real pleasure working on this one. It's a fantastic song and it was fun helping bring this to life based on a rehearsal room demo. Tracking was all done in a single day. Recording and mix wise I was inspired by early Weezer, Fugazi and Ben Kweller. Fuzzy guitars and a dry, upfront punchy sound. Recorded, mixed and mastered by myself, featuring @liamresta on drums and co produced by Rowan, Liam and myself. Available now on all the usual streaming platforms!

We had a brilliant day yesterday!! 📽️

With the help of a few friends, we shot a live performances at a beautiful church in our hometown.

St Mary’s is a medieval, grade I listed building of outstanding architectural and historic interest. It has been restored various times over the centuries from 1846 to 1884 before getting the final touches you see today by George Pace and Ronald Sims between 1969 and 1979. In its current form, it is a small service space for the community of Nottinghamshire hosting choir and orchestral concerts around its Sunday services.

We can’t wait to share these videos, and we’re excited to try more locations for recorded live performances in the future. Comment where you would you suggest?
