Still so in love with Ellie & Phil's wedding styling 🌿🧡 Including this goooorgeous welcome sign!

This is one of the first details your friends and family will see, so set the scene and make a statement with it. After all, florals don’t need to be reserved just for your ceremony or tablescape.

If you’d love help planning those details for your own 2026/27 celebration, visit the link in my bio to discover more about my wedding styling services.

Otherwise, keep scrolling through the grid for all the inspiration you could need for your own love story!

Photographs like this rarely come from rushing.

I spend at least an hour and a half with my brides before a wedding, and there’s a reason for it. There are more moving parts, more people, more details — but mostly, I want there to be enough space that we’re not constantly thinking about what comes next.

Because somewhere in that time, the good stuff just happens.

A dad walks into the room and sees his daughter. Someone fixes an earring. Mum steps back for a second and takes it all in. Champagne gets poured. Everyone settles. And suddenly there are photographs we never could have planned.

I lost my dad when I was six, and I think that’s probably part of why I’ve always felt something particularly special about these moments. There’s something about a father figure seeing you, fully grown, about to step into a completely new season of your life. It’s such a small part of the day, but such a big one too.

Michelle and her dad at Redleaf was one of those moments.

So, whether I’m photographing your wedding or someone else is, one piece of advice I’ll always give you: trust your photographer when they ask you to allow a little more time here.

Ideally, I like my brides dressed and ready around an hour before the ceremony. It gives us room for beautiful portraits, first looks, family and all those little things that happen in between — without anyone watching the clock.

And even an hour disappears surprisingly quickly.

If you can, adding a second photographer for the boys makes the whole thing flow even more beautifully. They can have their morning documented without needing to be ready incredibly early, while I stay with the girls. Then everyone moves into the ceremony naturally — no unnecessary waiting around, but still that little bit of anticipation before you see each other.

Time is such an underrated part of beautiful wedding photography.

Not because I need an hour and a half to *take photographs*.

Because I want enough of it that we can stop trying to make photographs happen — and just let them happen.

*THE RECOVERY CLUB.*

This chapter of our Villa Toscana Editorial Production was always about the day after — bare feet, wet hair, leftover glamour, fruit on the table, music still playing and absolutely no one ready to go home.

Created by a collective of people who believe celebrations should feel *lived, not performed.*

A final little Villa Toscana chapter, with some frames we’ve been keeping to ourselves.

We love couples who live fully. Who party properly. Who make a wedding more than one beautiful day and turn it into a whole weekend of stories.

Because the best weddings don’t end when the formalities do.

You don’t rewatch your parents’ wedding video for the dress. You rewatch it for the people.

The way your grandmother laughed. Your dad, younger than you are now, halfway through a speech. Faces mid-dance, voices mid-sentence, the whole room alive and unaware it was being kept. Nobody watches their wedding film much in year one. It is in year ten, and year twenty, that it quietly becomes the most valuable thing the day produced, because it is the only place the people are still moving.

The content we covered last week owns the first 24 hours. The videographer is working for the next fifty years, and she is the vendor the budget cut always comes for, which is exactly why the most common regret among married couples is not the dress or the venue. It is skipping the film.

These are the videographers we trust with the next fifty years: @feelinghousefilms, @timothyblacketerfilms, @dearvincent, @lesvaques, @ethanhart, @mitchandtijana, @sommarfilms, @marcusrusbournemedia and @lukebickleyweddings. Who they suit, how they work, and what to book, it is all in the edit.

Comment FILM and we will send you the full edit.
