🩷Just some blatant reminders:
Your neighbors are queer. Much of the art, entertainment, and media you consume is queer. Most of us on this land are immigrants. Hate and discrimination disguised as kindness makes you a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I’m queer, my family and friends are queer and transgender, my family immigrated here at a time where it was wildly easier, encouraged, and welcomed. My family line is full of teachers and laborers and farmers and parents and children. So is your family line. So are your neighbors’.

This year I’m turning 30. This year I’m prioritizing my own growth and growing my community✨ creating and growing our community is how we succeed and how we move forward

We had our Halloween concert Friday with the @il_wesleyan jazz band. I am so proud of these musicians. Everyone performed well and had a good time. Looking forward to the rest of the year.
