Out of breath and full of gratitude!

Immersed in ancient Taoism practices, following nature’s patterns emphasizing harmony and balance, finding flow.

The Yang-Sheng of nourishing life.

Cultivating Qi, my life force for empowered living and fully-alive longevity.

Rewilding my human experience.

Lungs expanded with fresh rainforest air, sending oxygenated blood to my legs’ mitochondria,

where it contributes to producing the ATP my muscles need to fly thru these trails having fun with fast feet, an alert brain and elevated spirit!

And that’s a wrap on Kilimanjaro!

Our trek along the Lemosho Route had all the feels. Dizzying (literal) heights. Breathless, sleepless nights. Laughter and ridiculousness fuelled by high altitude. Some barfing. Some anxiousness. Some headaches.

So many incredible memories made while pushing ourselves to reach the Roof of Africa at 5,895 m. This was my second time going for the summit and let me tell you—it’s still just as hard!

So proud of all that everyone overcame. Facing our fears—from the exposure on that dreaded Barranco Wall, to the uncertainty that comes with striking out at midnight, and a summit push that stretched on and on relentlessly.

We were supported by the most incredible team of guides and porters. They anticipated our every need. They brought us coffee to the tent in the mornings. They cock-a-doodle-doo’d us awake each day and tucked us in with hot water bottles at night. They sang to us when we had nothing left in the tank. And they encouraged us when some of us wanted to turn back (hi! 🙋🏼‍♀️). We could not have asked for a kinder, harder-working and lovely local team.

I’ll remember this one forever. Love you ladies… “One time life—“ right?! ❤️ Never forget to “Please. Enjoy yourself.”

I’ll try to post more about each separate day but in the meantime, wanted to celebrate the epic achievement of these kick-ass ladies.

Could being off-line be the new luxury?

Starting to find a pretty sweet rhythm off social media.

165 hours of each week's 168 off SM. I've failed at this before, but this time it seems easy. It's such a notable upgrade.

Now into Q4 I adopt a GSD theme (Get Stuff Done)

+ when look up from work, 100% high quality personal experiences only.

That is possible, given WE each create and craft every single moment we show up into.

Unless we choose to be a passenger to life.

SIMPLE yet deeply meaningful seems to be where I'm landing.

🎥 Forest hike is majestic & a great legs & lungs workout. Beach is at base of a majestic fjord on Pacific Ocean. Playful dogs & all shared with my best friend.

All the natural elements. ALL HIGH VIBE. The best day. Mind soul body spirit.

Trees trails beach ocean mountains.
Fun laughter mixed with great convo - ideas & philosophies, learn & grow, zero small talk or gossip.
Followed by nutrient dense delicious nourishment.
Uplifting music, grounded peace, & soulful intimacy.

We can make our good days.

By co-creating good moments with those we allow in our inner circle.

Cleansed of SM you can be fully present, so you can do each moment well and to see from eyes in awe.

Craft each moment, the art of living.

Did you know pouring and drinking a cup of refreshing water can be a Zen practice?

How much of life are you missing, rushing to what's next?

As fast as folks scroll so too does their their mind, on what's next or what has passed, rarely immersed in the Now.

We can decide if this is a good or bad day, before our feet even hit the floor.

YOU determine what your energy, mindset and mood is.

2️⃣ FOCUS:

Our commonality is difficulty. Our difference is what we focus on.

Address those weeds. Yet also see the flowers. Save space for joy & water those flowers.

There are times we become capable of less. Such setbacks include illness, injury, trauma, loss, accidents.

Do not define yourself by what you cannot do. Focus on what you CAN do now + believe you CAN get thru this tough time.

The cannot do's become can-do's after you believe you can.

No one puts positive actions in consistent motion without believing they can take the steps and believing it leads to feeling better.

A can-do attitude is rocket fuel for resiliency, adaptability, improving, and, a better emotional state.
