Nothing that a HVLP sprayed pre-cat lacquer (Goudey), stain (Goudey), and varnish (Sansin-floor) can’t fix! 💪👍 While the store was closed we were able to give our massive pine table some attention! •• Unfortunately I can’t fit all of the process photos in one post so stay tuned for a little video recap! •

Doing our best to keep your projects on the go! Mariah has been speed learning about stock and ordering in between the hustle of your paint orders! She has learned that inventory is trickier than it may seem, especially with the shortages and staggered production due to COVID restrictions. •

Benefits of being an independent store? Having access to a wide array of products, both specialty and basic. We can confidently say there’s not a day that goes by where we’re not learning. Who knew there were SO MANY COATINGS?! Like this Styrene Butadiene Acrylic, it acts as a vapour barrier where it wasn’t already created or perhaps may have failed. •

Next on HGTV we’ve got the Colour Oasis crew sporting our new contractor T’s, printed by the amazing @mvs_design ! It continues to be an unpredictable and daunting time for us all, so why not add some optimism, fun, and paint to help clear the clouds a bit? #socialdistancepaintingclub ! •

🌞 The warmer weather is here! Here’s Mariah making this planter her own. She used Sikkens/Sico In Dark Oak, and Arborcoat solid stain in Tranquil Blue (2051-50) •

We’re excited for the warmer weather.. as I’m sure YOU are! ☀️ 🌞 Probably even more so as everyone wants to get out of their houses to catch some vitamin D and fresh air. With all of that said, this is a friendly reminder that we still have less than ideal conditions for painting and/or staining exterior, as it’s still very cold at night. We appreciate the ambition and interest in getting outside to-do’s done, we also appreciate the integrity that our products have when used correctly! Thank you for your understanding! Stay home, stay safe. •
