We’re excited to share that 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐘𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐝𝐚 𝐈𝐤𝐮𝐭𝐚 ( @marianayi ), based in Vancouver, BC, has been selected for our Triptych call (a three‑panel artwork, created on wood panels).

Mariana’s work explores the emotional landscapes we often keep hidden: the quiet spaces between wonder and vulnerability, magic and melancholy, hope and heartache. Her drawings feel like portals into dreamlike worlds, where softness and complexity coexist. Through delicate lines and muted tones, she invites us to reflect, feel, and find connection in the contradictions of being human.

Born in Brazil of Japanese descent, and now living in Canada, Mariana has always lived between worlds. That sense of in‑between, of searching, shifting, and belonging — continues to shape her artistic voice. Art became the place where she could explore identity, emotion, and connection.

Over the coming months, Mariana will be creating a new commissioned piece for this call, which The Piccolo Gallery will offer at auction later in the year. Her work resonates with collectors who value emotional depth, poetic detail, and art that speaks to the quiet complexities of being human.

💫 In the meantime, we invite you to explore her work and support an exceptional local artist:
