🎭 Meet the readers & writers for WHY THE DRAMA? LIVE 🎭 Join us TONIGHT for an evening of live table reads, creative exchange, and industry connection at FilmGate Miami as actors bring excerpts from their original — and spooky — feature film scripts to life. 🎬 FEATURED LIVE READS: 🦾 A.L.I.A.S. — Written by WM Ash In a city where metahumans are regulated like weapons, one dives into the fractured minds of unstable heroes and dangerous villains—uncovering buried truths, hidden identities, and a growing conspiracy that threatens to unravel the entire meta‑world. ⚰️ GOD FORBID — Written by Maria Sky Convinced her rebellious best friend is possessed, a devout nun stages a DIY exorcism, only to discover she may be looking for a demon in the wrong place. 🎞️ The Titled Edge — Written by Joshua Pabon When a lonely 12-year-old captures a brutal murder on his vintage camera, he unknowingly turns to the killer for help, putting his sister, her anonymous neon bike crew, and everyone he loves in the path of the very man they trust most. ✨ Some roles will be filled through our WILDCARD selections—meaning audience members will have the chance to jump in and read live during the event. Come ready for a chance to perform! 🗓 Wed, Oct 21 ⏰ 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM 📍 El Oro Theater @ FilmGate Miami / Downtown Media Center 🎟️ bit.ly/WTDOCT26 #FilmGateMiami #WhyTheDrama #MiamiWriters #MiamiActors #ColdReadEvent

We didn’t start making movies because we wanted to become a production company 🎬 For years, we prepared our actors for the camera — training, challenging them, pushing them beyond their comfort zone. But at some point, we realized that preparation wasn’t enough. Actors need to be on set. They need to work with other actors. They need to experience what happens when a professional camera actually rolls. So we stopped waiting for those opportunities. We created them. First monologues. Then scenes. Then short films. And that’s when The Coach MC Studio evolved. We weren’t just preparing actors anymore. We were creating opportunities for them to actually do the work. That became part of our philosophy: Prepare. Create. Produce. Get on Set 🎬 Because sometimes, you can wait for the door to open. Or you can build your own. New movies coming soon 🍿 www.ready-to-perform.com #screenacting #filmmaking #acting #actingcoach #actorslife🎬
