Road-tripping with my favorite daughter to watch @moulinrougebway in Dallas. It’s always fun to do something that isn’t our “norm.” It’s also special to see my sister’s beautiful and tasty baked goods in the donor suite. Thank you sister for selling us tickets!

This road trip eased the pain of saying goodbye to my baby boy on his way to #lubbock . 😩❤️

I’m missing the beach..so throwback to our last Cozumel trip. This time last year we were a few drinks in playing volleyball and ping pong. 😭😭 Hopefully we’ll be back in March, si Dios quiere. #FamilyVacation2021 #Cozumel #ourhappyplace

First #CrossCountryMeet is in the books! Thankful for the rain yesterday but it was soooo humid.

I got a sweaty hug anyway from my @cadenas.sofia . Her team placed 1st overall and she got a 7th place medal.

Love cheering these girls on. #XC #running #shesarunnershesatrackstar #winningmindset

Guys it’s true…your tiny babies that drive you bonkers grow up and leave you and your life will never be the same.

Love you @cadenas.abel . Praying for your first year away from us. I pray you’re safe, you make good choices, and grow while having (not too much) fun. We love you to the 🌖and back.

Well, we did it. Our Little @cadenas.abel is officially a 2022 graduate. We are beyond proud of this young man and cannot wait to see him soar at @texastech . We are so thankful for family and friends that are like family for showing up and celebrating this momentous occasion. It meant so much to us.

Good job babe. We love you more than you’ll ever know. ♥️♥️😭😭 #Feeling22 #saladotx #classof2022 #firstborn

What a Mother’s Day! My feet look like I’m wearing invisible #vans but it was worth it to watch @cadenas.sofia and her soccer team win TWO medals today. Not only #districtchamps but #STATEChamps as well at this @stxsoccer Director’s Cup Tournament. Such a huge accomplishment for this U16 #girlssoccerteam .

These girls play hard and show up for each other at every single game and it shows. Sooo proud of this team.

They scored a total of 17 goals and only gave up 3 in this tournament . Go Salado Spirit Soccer! ⚽️

Oh em gee…busy busy weekend. Last minute field trip with my Adam to Houston Space Center - so thankful for a flexible job that allows me to put my family first. 🥺

#seniornight for my little ABEL! 🥺 Don’t ask me about it.

Soccer game for Agustin and @cadenas.sofia helped referee a baby girl soccer team and it was the CUTEST! ⚽️

Then took some friends to experience our favorite little Austin Asian market where @yothats._ali was showing off his legs. 😂😂

So thankful for all the memories we make everyday. Thankful for the laughs. Here’s to a great Monday.

My friday- drove over 2.5 hours to San Antonio to watch my Sofi and her #soccerteam play a worthy competitor. We didn’t get the finish we wanted…but #silverlining is I got to eat dinner with my cousins and their families before we headed home. Ok…off to bed. I ain’t making breakfast tomorrow. 😂😴💤

Photo dump from this weekend’s activities.

@cadenas.sofia.soccer and her JV team won tournament champions, then we ran to her HOSA competition, which earned me an evening with the homies to celebrate @nurse.roni ‘s birthday at @taqueromuchoaustin .

Now to sleep because Monday comes early.

Such a fun night seeing all the hard work of our Salado Education Foundation board come together. The Cattleman’s Ball committee has set a new standard and bumped the bar a little higher. It was a beautiful night of perfect weather and a generous crowd. We were able to raise over $170,000 last night for graduating seniors and classroom teachers. It has been an honor serving on this board and seeing this come to fruition was a nice way to end my term. Congratulations friends. Y’all are rockstars.

It was a beautiful day watching this sweet lady and her team run in her district meet in Jarrell. Getting an 8th place medal for JV and 1st place in the district was a nice ending to this season and it’s 5:30 am practices. Super proud of my Sofia and her dedication and strive to compete against herself. Way to go #LadyEagles !! #saladoTX #crosscountryrunning #JV
