Here’s a sample of dishes we’ve been making over the last several months for the new edition of ‘Sara’s Kitchen: The Sisterhood Cookbook’. It’s not too late to join our monthly cooking group. And for our AGM coming up on May 6 don’t forget to submit a family recipe for our recipe swap! Link to submission form in our bio. 🍮 🧁 🥘 🥗

We’re extremely proud to announce that at tomorrow’s Sisterhood Shabbaton service we will be officially launching a year-long fundraising project. We’ll be creating a 2nd edition of ‘Sara’s Kitchen: The Sisterhood Cookbook’, to honor Sara Ciacci, the beating heart of Temple Sholom’s kitchen, as she approaches her 99th year of enriching our lives and community.

Within the pages of this cookbook are ninety cherished recipes that Sara has compiled over her years of selfless service. These recipes are not only delicious but are also rich with Sara’s experience, wisdom, and unstinting devotion to her community. Over the course of the year Sisterhood members will meet once a month at Temple Sholom to make all ninety of the recipes in the original cookbook. The food will be professionally photographed by Temple Sholom staff member Marielle Solan and the new edition of the cookbook will be available to buy in 2024.The funds raised from this cookbook will be dedicated to continuing Sara’s legacy of social action, support for the food bank, and chessed.

More information about this project will be sent out in the coming months. In the meantime, enjoy some teaser photos from the very first cooking sessions!

It’s been a tough time emotionally- but today is a brighter day. Today marks 8 years since the best party ever, and one of the most solid decisions I ever made. @vtucci - marriage has been a joyous adventure with you - I love you so much and the life we are creating for ourselves. Your unyielding love and support over the years have meant more than words can describe- and I knew almost the moment I met you that you were something special. Here’s to continuing our adventure!

Feeling lucky? Stop by the famous St. Patrick's Day parade, taking place on 5th avenue today. 🍀⁣
⁣
Since the first parade in 1762, New Yorkers have gathered in green for a day of music, laughter, and a few (too many) pints🍻 ⁣

This suite was originally designed for a beautiful editorial, inspired by jewel tones and gardens overflowing with lush florals.
